Evosport Shorty

Before I purchase directly from Evosport, does anyone know of any sales going on from different re-sellers for this product?

If you don't mind me asking, is there a reason you want the Evosport shorties over Kleeman? THe Kleeman's are much cheaper and it seems virtually everyone that has them seems to be very happy with them.

No problem at all. Im after a header that does not require any welding and is completely bolt-on. I do like the Kleeman headers though as the collector looks bigger.

You can also look for a set of used Renntech shorties, I love mine.

I think im going to just go with long tubes. Looking at the evosport and plm headers...they both have a small collector and for ~$750 more I can get long tubes with a custom mid section installed.

I'm glad you've seen the light You'll be much happier, plus nothing sounds quite like long tubes!

Indeed I have. My logic is that for 30% more $$$, I get 100% more power by making the switch from shorty to long tubes. Only downside is that I wanted to do the install myself but now with welding and cutting required, I will need to drop it off at a shop.

Those are nice and look to be equal length. I take it you dont want to modify the rest of the exhaust. Someone on the site has a set of longtubes for sale.

Don't buy them! I had a set that I twisted the crap out of with all the engine torque and they eventually cracked. Buy the Kleeman or get LT's

MBH and TTM make 100% true bolt on headers if you want to go that route...

+1, Get them to through a x-pipe in there and have it bolt up to the stock resonator. If you ever want to get rid of the resonator it'll just take to straight pieces of pipe.

I believe you meant to say that TTM and MBH do not make a bolt-on setup...If that was your intent, I would say you are mistaken and the OP could call either (as I have) and confirm....

To be fair my MBH midsection didn't fit and we had to heat it up and bend it a lot to bolt it on.

Well that is just because your car is special (j/k)...Did you notify MBH so they could adjust their jig ? I know ARH / TTM had to tweak their design a bit and supposedly it fits fine.

when you say bolt up 100%, it means fits like factory with no issues...

This is not the case , not fitting, leaking, rubbing etc are not factors that you would consider 100% bolt on

i speak from experience and of others...not phone calls

OK, so which setup do you have experience with ?

I don't have either on my car, but a neighbor has the MBH setup (headers and mid section) and he had no problems....Granted he did not do the install, but the shop that installed the setup did not have any issues.

I do know the first batch of TTM headers had issues, but it was addressed by ARH.
