2013 AMG keys for E55
Does anyone know if we can order the new AMG keys for the w211 E55? Has anyone done this that can give an estimate on the price?

If the car has keyless go then if will require programming
The key has to be ordered at the dealership they will ask for Id, insurance and registration and will issue the key only to the person who name appears on the documents. Some dealers require the car to be present when the new key is issued, but if you know the parts guys they let it slide.

I don't think they work on the older fobs. Only 2010+

i got a new key from dealer for $190 (best price i could find). It comes ready to use - no programming needed on my part. As mentioned earlier... you need registration to prove you own the car to order. Only took a day or two to come in.
