The E55 is not stock to keep up with an F10 M5 like that.

And I'd venture a guess and say it has more than just a tune, too.

The quickest F10 M5 I've heard of ran 11.78 on street tires and Enzom's E55 ran 11.77 on street tires.

Would reay like to know more details. The E55 is definitely underrated. If you listen you can hear the e55 manually shifting right before the pull. I'm curious what gear he was pulling from. The f10 appears to have much more torque which gives it the jump.

Seriously, quoting the best possible times from a car (not in stock trim) and claiming it as a bases to how it runs on a general bases is a bit silly

nearly just as bad as the C63 boys claiming fastest tune only and so forth times...hmm interesting points allot tend to leave out:
  • Perfect track Prep
  • Perfect weather to race in(DA, (negitive) sea level...etc)
  • Drag wheel setup with 16 wheels and skinnies up front
  • Drain all water, remove all tools/ spare and anything you can think of from the car.
  • Race fuel with less then 1/4 in the tank.
  • Ice the car before the run/ Ice tank.
  • All other forms of weight reduction (removing seats, lighter brake discs front/back, carbon trunks, hoods, exhausts, race cats... etc)
  • Driver mod

and then they say ECU tune only
Or stock plus tune and headers
or stock with drag wheels only


Sorry but any alternation that effects the the daily every day setup on the streets, is not considered stock trim and might as well use NO2, or state it

That car that ran 11.7 will not run that number on the streets on an avg bases, just pure and simple

I pulled a tuned M6 pretty good a few years ago with a 172 and EC tune. I'm surprised the E55 did this poorly.
