I would just clamp the hoses to avoid a huge mess, and then go from the several DIYs posted here. I feel I can safely do it. So I will attempt. When I am done, I will data log every mile until I know it's solid.

Hey Jerry, my IATs are about 90 during a 55 mph cruise at 40-45* ambient, and they jumped up to about 185 to 190 when I raced a charger SRT8 from a stop to about 110. It did not end well for him..

 

That is WAAAAYYY too high. I've never seen IAT's that high after installing a new pump. Max I've seen is 160* on a 140mph pull.

 

I am bleeding the pump tomorrow to see if there is air of if I need another pump. Then either way it goes, I will be splitting the cooling circuit. I am just doing more research so I know how to do it fully before attempting.

 

Try replacing your IAT sensor, otherwise you have a bad pump.

 

Where is the sensor located? And could you throw a part # my way? Surprisingly I haven't heard of them going bad before.

The software is officially ready for release. We will start shipping the kits and put up a download link when I return from our London tuning day on the 11th.

I'll be tied up while I'm there so we wanted to wait until I got back.
