Hey, all. I'm transferring myself from the C55 forum to the E63 forum, since I just purchased an '08 E63 with 41k miles. Indium Grey exterior with an Ash Grey interior. Options are iPod integration kit, rear side window blinds, voice control, panorama roof, electric trunk closer, and Premium II package. I could do without the gas guzzler feature, though. ![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
Looking to do minor mods--K&Ns and probably 19" wheels.

Welcome! Nice to (finally) see another Indium Grey E63.
Congrats on your purchase. The color is a real double-take, head-turner. I love it.

Thanks, all! I was unsure of the color online, since I hadn't seen Indium Grey in person before, but I really do like it now.
I was immediately impressed with the power delivery of the motor and the locomotive-like pull of it. I thought I might like an E55 better for the low-end grunt, but the 6.2 certainly has enough torque to wildly spin the tires anyway.
Getting into my C55 now, though, I notice the steering is much lighter in the E63 and less communicative. It still accurately goes where I point it, though. It just doesn't seem to have as much feedback.

Welcome to the forum and beautiful ride! I love the exterior color.
Please make sure that you service the transmission, if it has not been serviced already. Just a thought: if it has reaming MB warranty, might wanna look into extending it.
