I'd think the relatively "gentle" engagement of turbos vs the violent "right now!" nature of the supercharger will have the tranny breathing a big sigh of relief. Now the drive shaft, on the other hand, that might be getting a job at Wetzel's Pretzels in the nearest shopping mall.

YES! Hopefully there are no compatibility issues with 4-Matic, because I'd gladly have a twin-turbo E550 if the price is right. Curious what I would have to do transmission wise though, I assume I use the same 722.6/WA580 as the E55.

Awesome ! Whats the target price of the entire kit with all the bells and whistles? I have alot of RENNTECH upgrades and A STOOOOPID Tune done by ROB at MB automotive here local to me . Looks like I will be selling ALOT of Renntech parts ! The possibilities with TWINS is crazy

i am not very familiar with 550 models, i was under the impression that they are still m113 family engines. if they are not, i'll have to get the car in to see what kind of modifications are necessary to make it fit. my guess would be only the hot sides, cold sides should still be the same, may be just a different charge pipe

E55 AMG on Ethanol-Meth; 600rwhp BMW M5
Valves covers get back from paint today, midpipe is now finished and it will be popped off and begin tuning next week. Depending on boost, but I hope to hit the numbers on our dyno with the 50 shot setup.
It will still be on the E85 fueling setup with meth for iat cooling.
