Diagnose Secondary Air Injection, EGR, and Post Cat 02 Sensors through SDS
Friend of mine and I were able to change post-O2-sensors (0182) and SAI (0178) into "AUS". But... EGR (0176) kept poping back to "EIN" no matter what we tryed. Any help on this?
And one other thing too... Vmax (0224)
there wasn't higher option than 250kph awaible. Why? Where I could switch 300kph?
Help please?

I have removed primary cats and secondary cats (im not in the USA).
I am going to recode the car to suit this i have star diag.
I am reading on here in my searches of people complaining about fuel smells when they deleted the primary cats?
Is this because of secondary air injection (cold start mixture richen?) or because of the factory tune?
I am building a set of headers and want to see how the car runs without any cats before I build these headers so I know weather I will need atleast one set of cats or not if the thing reaks of fuel which I doubt I can put up with.
I figure there must be a way around this while still removing all cats and secondary air injection, Maybe EGR to? Obviously id prefer not to tune it atm until I finish the headers I just want to run it as is to test it but im still interested in others experience with this??

Thanks kindly sir, thinking I can stop dealing with my 2nd o2's CEL now.
I just want to clarify;I am a South Carolina resident and my vehicle is NOT a "state road going vehicle", I just have pipe and tips...yes it is loud

So,I turn these off and I will NOT get a CEL from my LTH upgrade bc I am turning them off in dev mode where the ECU doesnt look for the 2nd o2 reading... correct?
You'll need a Dev mode SDS unit that's unlocked.
1. Select your car
2. Go to Control Units
3. Go to Drive
4. Go to MESFI 2.8
5. Go to Development Data
6. Go to Control Unit Adaptations
7. Go to Control Unit Adaptations(Variant Coding)
8. Go to Implizite Kodierung ME281 AMG C6-Stand
For EGR scroll down to 0176 and change Diagnose ein to Diagnose aus
For Secondary Air Injection scroll down to 0178 and change Diagnose ein Diagnose aus
For Post Cat 02 sensors scroll down to 0182 and change Diagnose ein Diagnose aus
That will disable each of those in the computer.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Needed to unlock the ECU first.
While car is running:
control unit groups
drive
ME 2,8 SFI
development data
actuations
complete index of actuations
steuergerät entriegeln -> confirm (In English: ECU unlock for programming))

I had to remove my secondary air pump on my G55 because when I replaced my headlights with projectors the pump didn't fit. I removed the pump and blocked off the lines, but I have a CEL now.
Is there anyway to have this done remotely by someone or is there someone local in Dallas area that can help?
Thanks,
Anyway still in need of some programming for this if anyone knows someone or a shop that can help. Otherwise I might just have a new bracket built for the pump and mount it somewhere inside the engine bay.
I turned off sec air and o2s but they would never set as ready. Even driving it hundreds of miles the monitors wont set. I am not sure whats going on.
From what I have read here, turning off o2s shows them as N/A and sec air as READY. Any help is appreciated. 2005 S55, headers, no cats. Thanks
Got to turn off rear 02's, EGR, secondary air and do -10deg mod.
Thanks Shardul!!!!!!!!
Did you have issues with monitors setting?

Up until today STAR did not help me because it would not set the other monitors BUT i have found a loop hole that works.
After ECU reset and driving the car for over 200 miles...still nothing set
EVAP, AIR, O2S, HRT and CAT wont set.
I was bored and sick of it and happened to try the following. I did the following with the car in the garage.
1. With car off, I pulled the N relay for sec air, started car and shut off. Scanned it with code scanner I/M sec air READY but has pending sec air code. Plugged N relay back in.
2. Disconnected evap purge valve, started car and shut it off. Scanned it... Immediately it set O2S and CAT as READY with pending evap code. Plugged evap back in.
3. Disconnected passanger side primary O2, started the car and shut it off. It set EVAP as ready. Plugged it back in.
So there you have it, this set everything except for HTR as long as there are no issues with any components. Pending codes don't matter as long as they don't come back and trigger a CEL. I think unplugging the rear O2s, starting it and shutting it off, plugging it back in might set HTR to READY.
I'm off to inspection with 3 pending codes and no CEL and with 7 out of 8 as ready.
