W211 Wheel fitment question
Hey guys, I just ran across a pretty sweet deal on a set of wheels. But they are coming off an 09 Audi S5. I wanted to know if they will work on my e55. I know the fitment would end up being aggressive, as I already looked online and saw two guys that pulled wheels from S5's and had them on a W211. I am looking for everyones input.
The wheels are:
20x9 255 30 20 front offset 28
20x11 295 25 20 rear offset 33
Let me know what you guys think and if it is posible to make these work. And yes I know that a 20 is a rougher ride than the 19. Oh and that I will definitely have to watch out for potholes. The rodes here in VA arent too bad, but I will still have to be careful.

Don`t see how the rears will fit and even with spacers, you would have ot do extensive fender lip removal or more. Maybe some others will chime in.

The front will probably fit but the rear is questionable. I think the tire size will fit in the rear but the offset may not leave enough room on the inside of the rear.
See here MEC who have probably the most aggressive fitment I have seen on a w211. They fit a 9" and 10" on a silver wagon with your same tire size. Not sure of offset they use here...
"MEC Design mecxtreme3 1 piece wheel 9+10,5x20 Full Gloss Black 255-30 + 295-25 ZR 20, spacers 12+5mm"
They also have a black sedan with a 9.5 and a 11.5 rear! Again not sure of offset they are using.
"MEC Design wheels mecxtremeIII, polish, 9,5x20 (4 inch lip) + 11,5x20 (4,5 inch lip), tires 245+285, spacers front 10mm"
I am trying to fit a 19x9.5 on the front of my car but not sure of offset to use. Anyway here is the link:

Good luck maybe some other members can give you better info of their experiences with clearance.

Can anyone else chime in on this. If they wont work then I will pass on them. But if I can get them to work I will buy them this weekend. It is a clean set of ADV.1's

Well I went ahead and picked them up yesterday. The price was too good to pass up. Gonna try a test fit today if I have time.

Thanks for the help dychen! I went ahead and mounted them today. The rear actually fit fine. The front did fit but stuck out too far for my taste. Now it is time to take them off and drop them at the wheel shop. Having the centers done gloss black to match the car and having them mill just a few mm off the front rims to bring them in a little so they dont stick out. Here is a pic from today, and yes the car is extremely dirty lol.
The stock rear and the new 295's. Looks mean from behind.

No interference at all with the 295's so far. I have driven about 50 miles with the new wheels so far. Gonna pull the wheels off tomorrow and drop the fronts off at the machine shop. Need to have a few mm shaved off the hub to bring them in a bit.

Yes, I agree. After driving it around... stopping every so often to get out and look at them lol I was thinking the same exact thing. They have a really nice contrast. I am gonna leave them for now. I like how they look. Just gonna get the few MM shaved off to bring the front wheels in. Then paint the calipers. I will clean the car up while the wheels are gone and then take some updated pics with them back on the car.

you don't want any surprises so dbl check the hub bore diameter to be sure it's the larger one which is same as that used by MB. given that year, it should be fine

I agree I hate when people paint beautifully machined wheels. I see people spend $6k plus on hre's or something, then paint or chrome them and they end up looking like eBay junk. A little more drop and roll the fenders and they will be perfect. Beautiful wheels
