My car is back up for sale!

Had a little issue with the deal but I figured I would list it up here for anyone else interested.

You can see it here on CL

I wanted paul to get it but its just really hard to make the deal work.I would have to pay the car off and get the title and then sell it to a dealer and turn the plates in and then he would have to buy it off a dealer.I would have to sell the car twice and pay it off out of poket as his bank would not allow a private sale and only a dealer purchase.

I will miss her though,I drove it for the first time in months the other day and got on it in 3rd and hit 110 mph in what felt like 1 second(Im used to driving my 4cyl Honda)and I just started laughing out loud and I couldn't stop laughing on how fast the car is.You cant explain it.There is nothing out there that I could replace this for the price that Im letting it go.I just cant believe how much these cars have depreciated and it makes me sick to my stomach on how much I paid for it and what the next buyer is getting, talk about bang for the buck!!!

If it ever gets to the point where you need or want to sell it asap then I am a buyer in the low $20's. I already have one but I will not pass up a deal if the car has a clean carfax. I am not insulting you either but I 'NEVER' need a car! lol I buy them when they come up and I run into them by accident like the one I have now and I am a real buyer always! Maybe a little low in price but a real buyer instantly!

I am sure that you see the cars dropping like the titanic!

Either way, nice car. I really wanted white but that went out the window 6 cars ago! lol

I really wonder why many people do not put their location in their...whatever the hell it's called under our names! lol

So, my next question is...where are you located?

I am sure that a black car freak who wants all your mods and black wheels will pay the $24k, so I am not doubting your cars worth, but not for me at that number. I am the guy who comes to the rescue when you just want to get paid. Not the highest paying guy, just the easiest! If the right guy is looking now, you will sell it. Location is a little important to me also as I have to see the car if we were to go any further in the future.

He has posted his location from the craiglist if you check it carefully. As far for the price, 05 with Kleemann goodies for $24K is very reasonable. Most of us here are AMG enthusiast not car dealer try to get deal and sell.

I play with old cars, not a 'dealer', and DO NOT PLAY with newer mercedes. I already have one and if there is one that is done (modded) already that I will like more for good money then I will sell mine. I would buy his first though! I have 13 cars right now and 6 are for sale, 5 of those I have owned for over 2 years and 3 I have owned for 8 plus years. Pretty bad dealer wouldn't you say? I can't seem to sell them! I have two Nissan Titan pickups because the same thing just happened, I found a lower mileage one for decent money! I will sell mine now and recoup some of the difference. Just because I look for deals doesn't make me a car dealer. Either way, I have the cash and I am ready to buy! If it works, it works, if it doesn't then it's fine with me Chuck!

Also very much an enthusiast Chuck, I have had 2 CTS-V's and did every trick to each of them through the caddy forum and met guys from there that I speak with still to this day and my list of cars pretty much puts me in the enthused car guy status...wouldn't you think? Just because while I am into cars I buy what I can, when I can, if it is a decent deal! You don't know that I drove 300 miles to see exactly what I was looking for...a white/black pano car and had a deposit on it at $24500 with 72k miles and no mods! I wasn't stealing that one Chuck! It did happen to be nothing that was described so I got my deposit back and that was when I gave up! So, while I like Screech's car, it's not the one I would LOVE to have...but I like it and again...I already have one.

Yeah it didnt work out with me buying Skratch's car. I was bummed. Long story short, I needed to buy it in my wifes name. Her bank said it had to be a dealer..... Yeah really weird. Not gonna get in all the details. But I am happy to say that I did buy an E55 today. It is completely stock so I will have to mod it myself:-) It is an 05 with 45K miles. Black on black. I literally got home with it 30 minutes ago. I am freaking loving it!!!!! Skratch wont have a problem selling his car, it is a beast. I offered to buy all his aftermarket parts, but he said he isnt parting it out. lol

Sounds like a good low mileage one and black/black always works...good luck with it. If I could have found a 45k mile car in colors that I wanted and options I wanted...I would have paid all the money for it! Good buy...whatever you paid!

I picked it up for 24,800.... I felt like it was a good deal for a clean low mileage e55. I love it. Looking for a pair of wheels now!!! Wheels first, then some performance parts next:-)

5 car garage, 2 enclosed 24' car trailers, the two titans outside (one of them to be sold shortly and inexpensively, the first guy to see it will buy it at my price) 2 cars at friends shop and two in rented indoor spaces.

When I want to sell one of my everyday vehicles it gets sold asap. I don't want to wait for 10 people to look at it and torture me. Just like if somehow I buy scratches car I will sell mine in the $18k range just to get out of it and I just did every maintenance thing it needed, motor mounts, rear struts, oil change, brakes, k&n air filters, the air intake tube and tune by Bruce. I bought it to keep it not sell it and I would be losing money of course. Anyway, I understand that it would sound like I am some sort of dealer but I really love cars and love playing around with some of them. Mainly the old collectibles though. I also do have a 2004 chevy hi-top custom van that I use as a party bus with 46k orig miles, with flat screen tv in rear and dvd navi combo in front for driver as well! No one has crashed yet! lol...and believe me I am not rich by all means, I try and buy good deals, haven't bought a new car in 15 years and I don't 'need' any of the ones I buy. When they come up, I buy them if I can! Whatever I have is pretty much tied up in cars of some sort.
