Depending on when the work was done. In my case the work was done 06 -07 and the only way they could tell what had been done was with the original owners name (which I did not have). That been said visual inspection will tell you a lot, headers, crank pulley, TB, airbox etc. can all be easily viewed and confirmed as aftermarket.

Theres a guy on here that works at Renntech. RBJ knows him. I forgot his username. Dont ask Renntech Bob. Back in the day he told me flat out to my face that Renntech wasnt interested in doing tunes on C C lass AMGs bc we dont like to spend money. However Harmut (owner) is a stand up guy and complimented me on my C Class at a Euroteck BBQ a few years back. I wound up going LET which is now EuroCharged.

Give the VIN to the MB dealership and if they are nice, they should be able to give you the name of the last owner.
The dealer trying to sell you the car should also be able to give you that info.

I will give Renntech a call. I am a wholesaler and bought the car. I am going to keep it for a while unless something else comes in that I want more. It feels pretty quick.

I wanted to make the track rental yesterday but just coudln't
