Rear Differential Fluid

Are any of you guys running a standard synthetic 75-90 or does everyone run the Mercedes fluid in the NON limited slips diffs? I have a CL55 that I'm going to do the fluid in tomorrow and would like to hear a few different opinions.

If I remember right Mercedes calls for a 85-90 Hypoid. Let me know if I'm wrong.

Will this do on an SL55- 75-90

I was going to do 75-140 but why I don't have LSD..

FCP Euro keeps suggesting 75-140 otherwise and so does every other site..

So 75-90? How much does the diff take? I am going to do my diff and the transmission in the spring. Called around and the dealer wanted ~$900.00. Uh no.

I'm reading a lot of 85-90 as well. Apparently alot of AMG owners review's on amazon and 85-90 is 9$ for 1 liter(we need 1.5) on FCP...LiquiMoly is the only supplier for this available.

I think I'll do 85-90..

Let me know if you find anymore info.

Same here with the Spring maint.

E55 and several 928s
75-140 is the spec fluid. Many times 75-90 is mentioned. Just put in 75-90 after getting a wavetrac. May drive it a bit and see. Easy to change.
