ACDelco AGM battery on sale(AUX battery)
Hey Guys....
Just wanted to share, I needed a new Auxiliary battery and I looked around. I found an ACDelco 14-BS battery that has a 50% off promotion, right now on Amazon(e-coupon) and it comes out to .....$33.26 shipped with Prime... not sure if you need prime, but it works...
You need to go to coupons and "clip it"... then on check out, it applies the 50% off.
In my humble opinion, ACDelco is a decent brand compared to others....

Hey guys just becareful when installing these and fililng them up. I did do one like that as well and the acid started leaking out of the battery and it leaked down on my AIRMATIC hose and it burned it and i wasnt able to find were the isue was for the love of God lol... so i ended up buying a new airmatic compressor doing all kinds of none sense stuff thinking i have bad airmatic until one day my mechanic looked under there to see and noticed the burned hose due to the battery leaking the acid.. i said F|U|C|K it and bought a brand new OEM pre filled all redady and sealed from factory and done with it.

FYI, never fill any battery to the top, needs room for expansion and gases. Just above the plates and your good. Been messing with batteries in the industry for 2 decades. Seen someone lose an eye (yes, they had to extract it) from an exploding battery to severe skin injuries to damaged property.

ok, so my battery came in yesterday. Since it is shipped dry, is there a shelf life with the battery? I may not install it until September/October, once the temperatures start to cool off.

I finally got around to setting up the battery over the weekend, nice setup here - the tubes are all pre-measured acid you break the seal and let the acid run into the battery core - no mess, easy cleanup and the cap fits perfectly!
