They do have glossy colors. The way that works is you dip with matte color first then they have a glossifier which you put on top of the matte color to make it glossy.

It sticks very well to almost any part of the car and hold even through power wash..

My grill was chrome all i did was prep the serface with some rubbing achoal or you can use any kind of stuff that take the wax off. (make sure the whole thing is dry, if not it will start to bubble and will look not good).

The first spray should be about a 50-60% transparentcy. (I used 8 total coats)

check this video out!

Looking really good and 8 coats should hold well. I wonder how hard is to plastic dip the V8 Kompressor badge with small letter.

I have seen it done and the rear badges to. The vidoe shows you how you do it.

I did my v8 kompressor on the sides all you need is a strong toothpick and its easy to clean up. the back badges are much easier.

did 3~4 coats on my LS460 grill, no issues.

When you need to remove the Plasti, use Goo Gone.

Just plain awesome.. Now, there's a grill that's making a statement.. As we say round these parts, 'Yoh!' (With a clipped 'o' as in orange).. Was considering either completely blacking mine out or leaving chrome 'highlights'.. Votes definitely swayed in favor of a black out..

i was just going to ask if they have clear plasti-dip.. might be a good option for the 3M clear bra..

Im kind of OCD, so im gonna want to do ALL OF THE chrome.. how hard do you guys think the small chrome trim would be? to me it seems like it wouldnt be any harder then the rest.

I was exploring plastidip options yesterday and found, yes, that they have clear plastidip.. Found it on the UK site, though..

Haven't had any first hand experience yet, but, from what I've seen on the DipYourCar Youtube videos, it boils down to technique.. I think it wouldn't necessarily be any harder than the rest.. I'll be dipping in a few weeks.. Experience may show me different.. Sure hope not..
