If they are truely under-rated then of course, its believable! And the awd does some incredible things at the track..just look at the "low" powered GT-R...

Are'nt these de-tuned as they share the same motor as their flagship S8 but making 100Hp less? S8 makes 520hp/479tq and are actually also very underated. I think they came in more like 560HP once tested. 8spd tranny, AWD and V8 twin turbo spells potential finally.

Well the compressor side is bigger, and they also have different cams. And all these cars have cylinder deactivation tech to make them comparable to 2 liter 4 cylinders while cruising for much better fuel economy.

As a family of VW drivers my Jetta is at 140k miles on a 06 no problems, dad has a '01 passat w 200k miles... no problems.. mom has a VW bug (4th one she's owned in last 13 years) no problems. They seem to be well made cars.

As a family of VW drivers my Jetta is at 140k miles on a 06 no problems, dad has a '01 passat w 200k miles... no problems.. mom has a VW bug (4th one she's owned in last 13 years) no problems. They seem to be well made cars.

That is crazy fast for just a tune......I better watch out for those cars.
I have always been a fan of Audi's. Most of their cars are very understated in terms of exterior design with the exception of the R8 and RS models. I think their interiors are a step above MB when comparing competitive models. I don't understand how anyone could not appreciate these cars.

dont u have a 13 cls 63 with a kleemann tune and downpipes ? if so thats def over 600whp im pretty sure u do not have to worry about any audi's or any thing else for the most part

My dad is religious about maint. on his passat. only synthetic ever 3k miles, all belts changed when needed etc. Was just his daily work car. Ive been tempted to buy it just to have something bigger than the Jetta.
The Jetta only thing i've done in the last 3 years since I got it from my dad was new tires, had to redo the whole brake package in the rear, master cylinder rotors etc for about 700 at my buddies ind MB shop.
Kinda used the VW as a test for my buddies shop and his prices for when I finally pull the trigger on the E55.

Yeah, sort of. I have been working for the past year+ overseas so it hasn't seen much driving action, only when I am home for little breaks every few months.

Coming to the U.S. this autumn, the S6 and S7 use an engine based on the V-8 that was first seen in the A8 last year. It's a very compact package, the turbos tucked in the engine's 90-degree vee with the exhaust ports in the heads' inside, the intakes on the outside. At 4.0 liters, the new direct-injected powerplant produces 420 bhp, with 406 lb-ft of torque on a plateau that stretches from 1400 to 5200 rpm.
You want me to believe a 420BHP 406lbft of TQ AWD car with a tune ran 11.7 1/4 mile? Considering a BiTurbo CLS63 with 600tq and over 560hp runs it 11.3-5 and doesnt have AWD.
Unless this tune give the AUDI 200hp and 200TQ I am not buying that quarter mile time. Was the DA -?

Glorified VW sure.. they don't even share platforms outside of their very smallest cars. Theres a reason why they're growing so quickly in the market and beating today's mostly sub-par (IMHO, non-AMG) MB model line.

they are underrated, but also that audi was tuned and on that model a tune only can add 124 hp so 11.7 is totally do-able
