They need to quit selling dreams to this platform. The only way their blower will work on our cars is if you build the block. If you don't, then it's only a matter of time.

Thanks guys. Just got back home. Met Steve and Mike from Weistec and both are cool guys and know their stuff. Car was running soon after Steve got his hands on it. Drove it around for a bit, no wot yet. Tomorrow I swap plugs and its dyno time. Fingers crossed! The car sounds nasty revving in park and made more boost than I was running with my Kleemann setup (Kleemann 2.2L vs Weistec 2.9)!

Why don't you give us a call or email to get first hand information rather than hearsay from others? We have multiple configurations that work perfectly well on a stock engine. Most of those who are modifying thier M113K's step into our supercharger system already modified. This inductively means they want to make more power. Making 100 hp more than a factory supercharger ever can means you will find limits of cast pistons. Unfortuneately this is only news to a few Mercedes owners. Do this with any platform, and it is the same recipe.

To recap what was just said, make what is advertised on our website and you will be safe. Try to make more and you should look into purchasing a set of forged pistons among other things.

Thank you Ahmad for your patience. We finally got a chance to get out this weekend and things have gone very smooth. The car is actually running and driving very well now. A spark plug change and dyno time is in the schedule for tomorrow. We also had a chance to move the IAT sensor after the supercharger system which took some time. It is typically in the MAF sensor in these cars.

More to come tomorrow.

Cool. If you guys have the time/inclination, I'll cruise down with mine too. (still running lean up top). Trunk tank is in and running like a champ. I think it's dyno time.

Can bring video gear too--that's what I do for a living.
