Yes Speedriven did the work and the car is going back there on Tuesday. I'm just impatient and want to know what is wrong. I'm sure he will be able to get it figured out.

If it makes you feel any better I just got the stupid 505 code.Im still waiting on a gasket but Im borderline on the % getting the code thrown, its seeing 1.2-1.6 tps in drive and sometimes hits .8 and triggers the code.

Sorry to hear that, let me know if you figure out the issue. I will do the same if I figure something out.

My car was set 550 default and that is really hard to hit with an 82tb I upped it to like 564-70 in star and you can't tell the difference with a scan tool looking at the tps and rpms

Yea, welcome to the P0505 club lol. Glad to hear that bumping up the idle helps...I've been meaning to do that and haven't gotten around to it yet. I feel like it runs really rich at idle after it throws that code too, but that may just be my mind playing tricks on me.

Its crazy the second the code is pending the car is in a mini limp mode and the supercharger engagement is very harsh and the second you clear it the car drives fine.

I would love to know many people are driving around with these codes.
And is there anyone with an 82TB with no codes.
I'm looking install one on my car but after seeing this I'm worried.

we just put my buddies t/b back together last night and got no check engine light... just has a rough idle as were missing the plug that plugs the snout

If you have a rough idle it most def has some codes pending and star quick test prolly has 10 pending codes lol

I gave up and found an amg 78mm that would not throw any pending codes and just this week I decided to go to an 82tb again.
Not even 10 miles of driving the car pended the code so its not a leak as the only thing I swapped were the tb and the inlet was not touched.
Upped idle in star and almost 2 days no pending codes and car idles like stock

My car for the most part is driving fine, AFR's are right on and fuel trims are normal. Only sometimes the ECU goes crazy trying to get the idle correct and the car idles like crap, and once I saw afr's of 21:1 and fuel trim of +25% while driving at low throttle. Restart fixed that. The idle will only drop down to about 630 though fully warmend up with TPS of .4-.8%. Other than that everything feels normal. We shall find out tomorrow what is up

On the tps % you will pend a code at anything close to 1.2 tps and want to see 1.6-2.0 fully warmed up in drive idling

I was one of the first to try using an 82 and went threw hell about 4 years ago and I was the person to tell jerry and Bruce we need to up the idle in star to fix it as the car was trying to hit a low rpm target that was next to impossible to do with an 82

Is it some kind of strangely weird that no one of the tuner companies like "E/C or TTM or Fabtech",
mentioned a possibility of problems shows-up after installing an 82mm TB kit,
although they are a great tuners(which provides 82mm TB kit)......

When I did mine, TTM Bruce told me that the angle of the blade is VERY important, my car idles at 650 and have had no problems to date.. However I did get a CEL acouple of days ago but went away within 24 hrs.. Car is running strong and seems to be fine... My shop knows, (ACG) and said bring it in if it comes back on...

Can we say the sensors can causes malfunction to the ECU during to the more air in the supercharger,
like air temp. sensor & charging air sensor, sometimes they may throw cells to the ECU,
and the ECU can’t deduct these kind of codes,
if you can put Star and drive the car for a while, then see what kind of codes you will find after the air & the water been hot.....
