Recommend a lightweight wheel for a flint gray E55?

I'm looking to upgrade my stock wheels.

I don't want anything bigger than 18''. Lightweight. Prefer something to compliment the flint gray car color.

Any recommendations/suggestions? Also, looking to run 285s in the rear if possible, without rolling fenders, spacers etc.

Thanks in advance

Personally, on a flint grey car I would go for black/matte wheels.
Check out Forgestars. A lot of members have them.
You also might want to check out 2007/08 E63 AMG wheels, also 18 inch. Not sure out light they are.

Check out ccwheel.com. They make light weight street/track wheels. I've had 2 sets of 18's and a pair of 16" drags, very high quality. Check out this blog as it gets updated more often with new finishes, styles etc. Warning-blog is aimed towards the flush fit scene. http://flushstance.ccwheel.com/

Yes, I was thinking black as well. The Forgestars F14 are nice, but seem to be on every W211 out there...

I wonder if gunmetal finish would look good on Flint grey?

I want lighter wheels as I plan to run a wider tire in the rear (285s if possible) without rolling etc.

Thanks! Definitely going to check this out. I actually love the deep dish look. I'm not sure how it'd look on the W211 chassis, but you can easily run an 18x9.5/10 and fit a 285 on there. Might need some rolling, though.

They don't look lightweight! And I'd avoid chrome...prefer black or gunmetal finish.

Nice.

What condition are the wheels? Curb rash, scratches etc. Why are you selling and what are you getting?

Gunmetal would look perfect on my flint.

Id say 9/10.. No curb rash on any of the wheels. Havent noticed any sratches, but there may be 1 or 2. Would be selling to get 19s. Ya gunmetal works on pewter and flint really nicely.

I will keep you updated once I get my new wheels (if the deal goes through) and take these ones off the car.

They have tons of finishes I've never seen them chrome though. Most of what your seeing is polished forged. They are very popular track wheels for vette's and surpas. They were designed for lm racing. They have monoblock forged too if you want to go any lighter.

Classics are as light as 16lbs

16" polished on my s

18 shot peened black on my old c5

And brushed gun metal anodize in my c43

^Looks SICK!

What's the pricing on those? Again, looking for 18s.

Presence,
Thanks for the PM - however, not interested in those wheels. Thank you, though.

It's all on there website ccwheel.com. Not cheap but cheap for a fully forged wheel. Around $700 ea or so for 18" I believe, unless its changed.
