Hey Guys,

Sold the E55 awhile back and had these wheels sitting in my garage for a long time. Just wondering if anyone is interested.

The rims were actually pretty durable. As much as I swerved around avoiding anything that resembled a pothole, I did hit a few big ones.

But the wheels didn't bend or crack. Maybe I have good tires or something...

Depends on where you live I suppose. I'm in Queens.

Maybe the road conditions are bad where you live...

What are you talking about I lived in jersey city until 2006 and worked in in New York with my family right of 7th ave and 24 st.

Plus I had many car with low profile tire and cruised in New York all the time by downtown west broadway to try to pick up chicks and chill at the places there
So you guess is wrong sir!

I wouldn't say boring anything is what you make it!
But back to my original post, I was amazed that the OP didn't damage or have problems with 20's assuming that he's drives on the BQE LIE and the Belt. I managed to blow 3 tires in 3 months and that's with stock rims. Guess the potholes seek me out!

the worst is when it rains and you cant tell where the potholes are at because there are filled with water

price, and did you have to modify fenders to fit? According to willtheyfit.com it should fit without modification, but I would like to know your experience.
