painted surge tanks

I have already done some searching on the forum and it looks pretty straight forward to paint the surge tanks. Take torx screws out, remove clamps behind them..prep, primer and paint; then reverse order with new gaskets. Is there anything else I need to watch out for? I am just a bit nervous pulling apart this car and then run into a snag...

Thanks for the help.

Some of the bolts are different lengths so I was super **** and numbered them once removed.
I also sanded the tops of the bolts so they were nice and shiny next to the red tanks

Good luck, this is a great weekend project.

Painting the super charger case ceramic silver really dress things up as well.

Yes. I just taped it off. The surge tanks hide a lot of it once installed
