My gosh what a nasty little **nt that was driving that car. As much as you instinctively want to talk trash because of the stereotype that Porsche drivers have, that is just a terrible human being that happened to be in a Porsche. Spinning the tires trying to get away while the guy was wrapped up in her front wheelwell?

I like to say nothing surprises me in life... But this is a new one

NOt sure if this is about fancy cars or drunk idiots This is nothing new in south florida.
There was a bartender who was drunk and killed a chef in south beach not too long ago.

This is one of the reasons i stay away from the party scene down here. It's just too much douchbagginess to deal with.

And speaking of douchbagginess......Yes the Heat fans they show on tv are like that in real life.

Sorry my bad, I meant non 911, ******* of a 928 and has Amera in it's name.

Don't miss my point, we have lost a few boys here, It would be nice, if this story helped someone to make a smart choice in the future.
Stereotype is what you thought, wonder what the guy that high centered the car was thinking, or what was on the mind of the guy wrapped around the front tire all up in the wheel well, as this 22 year old driver smoked the tires in an attempt to flee.

It will matter what car was involved cause Porsche will be sued in this one.

This is a stereotype,

this makes no sense at all. if it were even remotely true every car manufacturer in the world be out of business due to lawsuits. the make of the car has zero bearing on how this person used the car it could have just as easily been a prius.

your basis for posting this was because the person drove a porsche and you assumed her daddy will bail her out of any trouble. thats why i posted the benz hit and run article

Pretty sure the Prius is responsible for 90% of accidents out there, even if two different cars are involved.

Yup, agree. Folks tend to point fingers when it involves a 'high end' vehicle with comments such as

1) Daddy should have known better
2) Rich kid can't drive, etc

Yet fail to realize that todays family sedans have more power and are faster than most hi end sports cars of the past without any additional brake/handling enhancements. A 2012 Camry-6 has been quoted as hitting 60 in 6 flat. Do points 1 and 2 above apply to a Camry?

I think when a high end car is involved, sometimes fingers get pointed by people who are mad they dont have a high end car.

I understand it could be any car, what you need to understand is that her defense will be "the car took off" (like a Toyota)
Must be 300 lawyers here ready to take her case.
And yes daddy has her out already.
She stands a good chance of beating this as of 10:00 no charges have been filed.
We will see how it plays out.
My basis for posting this is my disbelief that a person would smoke the tires with people stuck under the car and a man wraped around the front tire in an attempt to escape. Right here on my home turf, man I am shocked anybody could be that cold.
Sorry if you think or feel prosecuted, never ment that, hell I have had 2 911s myself, end of the day it is still an a$$ in a Panamera nothing is going to change the facts.

You can thank the media for that, if it were a camry, the make and model would get no mention. If it were a telsa, the media would be jumping all over it. They would even blame tesla and not the driver. Think of the headlines. Think of their stock tanking.

Car manufacturers get sued all the time, you dont just hear about it. YM is correct in assuming Porsche will get dragged into court. There is no law prohibiting you from suing all parties involved in a frivolous lawsuit. Porsche will probably get sued from some douchebag south florida attorney and an undiscolosed sum will be paid to make the lawsuit go away. Thats how our civil legal system operates
