Car went in limp mode today.
AGAIN! How often/common does this occur? I just had this problem back in Nov 2012 and had these done to it new TCU , new valve body ,new filter , transmission fluid. I only put 1200 miles on it and today was on the freeway and the car just went in neutral so I pulled over, restarted the car and put it in drive but won't go past 3rd gear.

check around your throttle body if the rubber seal is maybe stuck or something.. happen to me and it went on limp mode, the butterfly was catching the rubber hose :/

Thanks for all the replies everyone! Took it in today and they said they'll check it out and 'there won't be a charge if the problem is related to the work they did'

Just heard back from the shop and they told me 'everything is pointing towards a bad transmission, were taking it to another specialist to get a 2nd opinion'. I'm not sure if I believe them or not.
