Anyone run a v.2 CTS-V yet?
So BlueML: Great statement!

...and I will not dispute the handling of the CTS-V...my 2004 handled incredible! I didn't really try any handling on the new one I drove but if it is better (which we can all assume) then it must be even more incredible. I, for one, am not a handling guy so it is not a big deal for me. Don't care for turns!

The exterior is love me or hate me. I think those who hate it dislike it for one or both of these reasons:
1. It’s very angular.
2. It’s aggressively designed.
3. It’s an American brand. (Period)
If the same exact car was made by a European make like Audi or Maserati with the same exact design and specs sans the emblems a course I believe most people worldwide would view this car more favorably. It's similar to the way people currently view Hyundai vs. other brands. For similar money most would rather drive a less attractive vehicle than be seen in a Hyundai. The same outlook holds true for any American car that embark on territory traditionally dominated by the Europeans. We all know the historical reasons why so I will leave it at that.
Now overall, my CTS-V gets WAY more attention on the streets then my E55k ever did, but who cares. Justin simply wanted to hear our opinions of how we thought the E55k performed against the 2009-2014 CTS-V.
In closing, a V series Cadillac will never ever have the flair of an AMG or M, but a V is darn good cost effective alternative.

I've just never seen a chick, who has the mindset at dropping her panties upon seeing a car they are impressed with, get excited over an old car. I imagine that the girls who drop toe floss over the sight of a car care about one thing....image, or rather brand recognition.
