have to respectively disagree with you. There is no way I am making my employees take phone calls over a holiday. We do enough of that after hours and weekends when we are not open.

No, it can still work but it could be an intermittent problem, you should have just swapped out the tb with manny and put your tune on and see if it was ok

I think when TB sometimes acts weirdly,, that means; there are some kind of interruption in the E-prom of the ECU,

remap it or recalibrate it will cure the issue....!!

Actually what you have described sounds like a bad tb ...that is why several have said to just swap it out with your buddies and see if the problem goes away...

So hold on, you flashed a stock file but haven't tested it yet? I can understand not doing a pull WOT with your mods but at least try the standing burnout since you shouldn't have to floor it to throw the error.

At this point if you have a stock file and haven't tested and are going to swap TB and then test you won't really know what the solution was.

Flash to stock + test = pass/fail tune problem
New TB + test = pass/fail TB
Flash to stock + new TB + test = pass/fail ????

Sorry I tested it with stock file and I got a little burn out but didn't wana go on... plus car didn't go on limp mode.

Car runs nice and pulls good, but goes on limp mode

Yah I tried it on his and works perfect.. came with 3 months warranty too

The EC tune according to my shop turns off the TQ limiters.. I have both ECU tune as well as TCU tune from EC and I was always under the impression that the TCU tune turned off the limiters.. Maybe EC could tune in and shed some light.. I get the jerky bucking especially when I turn a corner and I have a 82 TB.. It was purched new from Bruce I really don't think it's the TB... Got to be in the tune....

yep not the TB at all, i have tried two good ones and still... but it would be cool if EC would chime in or perhaps retune or something alone that line..
