How the hell do I get my trunk open??!!

Guys can't open trunk with remote, key or from the inside. Have important stuff in there as well as a 'packaged' tuna wrap!
Help! It's been two days. Pissing me off like no other.

This happened a month ago when my SOS went off. It's the wires in the trunk I assume.

Did you use the little key inside the key fob?

Yes and keep it turned when you use the handle.

Gave it such a hard turn that it got stuck and my finger got blue.
Had to get pliars to get it out.
When this happened before it took time for something in the car to reset and it popped open with remote out of nowhere. I don't have time.
Help!

Which way are you turning it? One way is valet mode and the other is the mechanical release. I forget which is which. Try it turned clockwise and counterclockwise. And as stated, pull the handle while the key is turned.

Tried it both ways..pushing on the handle and pulling the one on the door as well.
It doesn't go a full 90, maybe 75degrees. I turned it hard with pliars.

Push down on the lid while turning the key. Should help relieve some of the tension on the trunk latch.

Worked on a friends W211 when it lost all power.

I would also be anxious if I had tuna back there too, just now your fiance smells that and thinks you had a skank in the back seat. All jokes aside, try starting the car, lock it, unlock it and with it still running go back there and see if it opens.

If not, let me know and I will come up there and pry it open with my bare hands.

Seriously why not just go to your closest dealer or trusted mechanic ???

Refuse to get bent over at dealer and get a loaner. It's the last resort. I'd drive over midday but my schedule this month doesn't permit.

Explosives?

Can you take the rear seatback out and get into the trunk that way or is there an interior body panel in the way?

I'm pretty sure there is a metal panel in between since someone else mentioned it when they were interested in trying a rear seat fold-down retrofit...which wasn't feasible

Good suggestion.

Ya there's a metal panel with sound deadening back there, no go.

Then go back to my original suggestion and use explosives on that panel.

Have you tried using the interior button to close it? I know it's already closed, but maybe trying to close it might reset the computer's fubared brain? I'm just throwing out ideas now....

This place is a joke.
You may be able to break out a tail light, and push the emergency release inside the trunk, provided the trunk lid wiring is OK.

Pull on the handle while turning the key and pushing down on the trunk at the same time

Tried. With trunk handle and door handle, almost pushing the trunk out of the slot.
PISSES me off!

Tuna has been in your trunk since last night? Wow ... just go to the dealer and stop being such a hardhead.

Now your car will smell like Paris Hilton's cooch after a Friday night of partying, nice work.
