I just left a deposit on a tuner named Jesse's car from Indiana, 2011 WHITE 18k mile ctsv with every option..recaros, nav, pano..etc it has headers, some cooling, pulley, tuned by him of course and makes 550 whp because he detuned it to sell it. Paid $45k...think I did pretty good! 
Clean carfax...no paint work...hopefully it is mint but I am guessing that it is.

Actually I don't think the sedan weigh that much more than the coupes. Some sites have them within 50lbs of each other. Some have the sedan as weighing less. The wagons obviously weigh a little more. So there is no performance penalty with owning the sedan as the coupe offers no perform gains from less weight.

we have more affordable parts now thanks to shardul. Now if we can get the headers down to cts-v prices that would be great. You can can those headers for 1400bucks with mid pipe geez how many caddy owners are doing long tubes and once again prob 5 companies or more make them for those cars.

99lightnening: That's true. Thankfully the parts are getting more reasonable for the W211 platform. Back when I had my E55 I procured most of my performance parts through TTM and Eurocharged and they were not cheap. My earlier out comparison was related to the cost difference between a CTS-V and a biturbo W212.

Just kidding...if my car had what your car has and looked like yours, I wouldn't even be looking! Your car is fast and cool as hell looking...what else do you need?I just wanted speed and more speed and my car is just too expensive compared to the V. I have my car pretty much sold for $19500 (2004 w/ rear carbon fiber spoiler, drilled slotted rotors, K&N's, tuned, black painted roof, 83k mi. all maintainence just done, new tires, brakes... etc) so if it sells then that's great, if not then that's fine too! Still love the benz!

Yeah, you are gonna have the white over me on the V, I think I am "settling" on a silver one.

Jumping on a plane from Italy to Florida in 7 hours and then on another plane up to Virginia on Tuesday to then take my 700 mile journey home back to Florida.
