2011 CTSV auto, 06 E55 white pano, 87 Grand national, 63 split window
I am getting tempted to make the trip from Florida. I can caravan with Elliot on his way up with the other guys.
I would be driving my CTS-V though to try and get a 9 second pass. I return home on Nov 11th from Italy so it is cutting it close for me, but I want to get meth injection installed when I get home and get retuned and also was going to get a race gas tune. I just don't know if I can get with my tuner in those few days before the event. He is 3.5 hours away from me (south) but does traveling tuning days (1 hour from me being the closest). Maybe I can just get someone else to tune it locally if he isn't available at the time.
I will see when the time gets closer, have to make sure I don't get extended longer too which could always happen and not be home for it, but I am starting to think about it.

I think I might have jinxed myself, that is crazy. I show up to the office at the end of the work day and there is talk hinting at us staying longer, how does this happen?!?! Boss didn't say anything directly but stuff he was saying makes me think it is a good possibility they were thinking about it now instead of sending us home 
I hope not, especially since I have a feeling if I did get extended it would also be through Thanksgiving which I would rather be home for instead of eating pasta in Italy!

Just out of curiosity, are'nt black series amg's meant to be open track cars? Supercharging them would just create major heat soak issues and move them in the opposite direction of their intended purpose.

My C BS was built for road racing and with that in mind Weistec took some additional measures in the cooling department, bigger heat exchanger, an extra trans cooler, fans on the trans cooler, and a larger oil cooler. My C BS probably runs cooler than a bone stock C BS when pushed hard on a track. I have no heat related issues on the C unless car is in 100 degree temps being pushed 100%, but then again most cars NA or not would have some cooling issues. We will be doing many of the same cooling mods onthe SLS as well.

Looks like all the heavy hitters are going to be at this event. Ahmads car should be impressive as always. I think Weistec is planning on brining out a couple of their shop cars.

Boy, it sure has been a while. Best of luck to all that attend, lots of fast cars out there. If I could make it as a spectator, I will try to attend. Ahmad throws some of the sickest rentals since day 1.
