It's just a long drive, on a trailer...it's a 2 day thing for me and I really don't even care what it runs at the track. I have some runs set up for tonight so I am going to best buy in an hour or so for a gopro so I will have some vids for tomorrow!

So, it looks like everyone is bailing out! I am 90 min. from Atco and I will just go and run my car there. I was going just bc everyone seemed to be going to break records and get in the 9's etc etc. Looks like that has fizzled a bit so I am bailing out on my 7 hour drive. Good luck to all and I will post my times when I run at Atco.
I wish I kept my stock block in to prove it to you. Might just put it back in

Blckbenzzz and RBJ: I know you guys aren't bailing in the sense of the word...didn't mean it to sound that way but it seems like a few of you can't make it. I know that you guys have countless hours into your cars and that issues do come up. IMO, it's a nightmare and I give you guys all the credit in the world! 
Just saying that it appears that many aren't making it but I am sure there will be plenty of others there. I was only going to see a few cars but mainly to see you guy's cars and try and get 9's. Anyway, always pulling for you guys and hope all make their goals. I still may go...I'll see.

Okay, I'm an idiot. I was packing for the MIR rental tomorrow. When I saw my buddy Stephen (S600 on nitrous WR holder Stephen) mention on FB that he'll be running his ZL1 at VIR tomorrow. I started giving him grief about not coming tomorrow. Yeah....um....it's next week.
What the hell kinda drugs am I doing? LOL! Literally.
I changed the oil in the SL, pulled out the DRs, all my tools, snacks for the kids....
Had he not replied, if have been at the gates at 9am tomorrow. Bwah!

Crazy Clayton, I don't know if there is a name for glue sniffing, but the cat tranquilizer is called ketamine or "Special K". There is a Vette rental doing roll racing today at MIR so you would have just bluffed your wife that most of the other guys didn't show up. You have things under control.

If Mike Radowski can finish up my car, I will gladly let him take it to this event. I would pay the rental fee and have Mike drive my car to break his own E46 M3 US record that he set this past September with his Stage 2 kit. His shop is in Linden NJ so not that far from MIR.
He ran a 10.43 at 136mph. It's posted on Dragtimes. He is an excellent driver and should give the powerful modified MBs a little competition from a small 3.2 litre V6.
Weistec is still quiet with their tuning efforts on my C55 so I'm afraid it won't be readdy for this event. Otherwise, I would let Steve or Anthony take the car up there for a run as well.

I'm putting my stock bottom end motor back together now. Will see if it can hit 9s. Over 100k miles on it
