Not yet , I barely drive it , still waiting on some parts to come in and most likely going WEISTEC, saving ..........52%

Ok, I gotcha.

Yeah, they are kind of hard to distinguish kind of like the A4 and A6 older models. The S80 is a lot of car for little money.

Re-read your initial post...Get an Evo X MR....You could very easily / cheaply make the Evo as fast / faster than your e55 and it meets all of your criteria.

My DD is my W210 E55 very powerful 391 torque and plenty of space. With $10K you can find one with good condition. It's also very reliable. The down side is no AWD. Last week I drove to Fremont 400 miles with one tank of gas.

Subaru Legacy GT. A little bigger and doesn't scream boy racer like an evo or wrx. Can be fun with simple mods. Get a mid 2000's and save some money over a 2 year old bimmer.

Cool. Didn't know that. I just assumed all EVOs were manuals.

Why not just drive the E55 year round?

Its not like the car is going to get more valuable anyway... The new twin-turbos pretty much guarantee that our cars will become less and less desireable in the coming years.

Instead of blowing another $35K on a 2nd car (which will also depreciate) why not just throw that cheddar in the bank (or investment)..... Drive the E55 and enjoy what you've got, and when the time comes sell it off for a well-depreciated twin-turbo E?

Let's face it, the E55 is a sweet car while the current TTs are still rare, but in a few years the choice between the two will be a no-brainer. Nobody will be paying premium prices for an E55 anymore, no matter HOW nicely you've preserved it.

I agree with everything you have stated Greg, but the OP also wants another car, 4x4, since he lives in the cold and nasty east with harsh winters ....

Its not the snow Im really worried about. Its the sand and salt..

Ill be trading my truck in, which is completely paid off. So wont be that big of a hit.. I think the 335 is at the top of the list right now. I wont be doing anything for at least a month, but I wanted to start getting ideas and start doing my research.

I concur with Greg and Sir-boost

I, myself drive my car daily. Sometimes putting more than 110-120 miles a day on the clock. In Winter I put on Hankook Ice something and they were

fantastic and I'm in Canada , so snow here ain't a joke lol

I like to enjoy my cars so preserving kms/miles isn't a priority. We've all heard stories about members who have had very low miles on their cars and

after getting in a crash insurance doesn't pay out premium price on them. So might as well enjoy until you have them and when time comes you wont miss

after selling it either cuz you'd have had enjoyed and cherished its stay lol

On the other hand if you want a car just cuz you "need" one and not cuz you want to preserve miles then it's a different story.

Evo X's are a good cars, you can buy the MR version which is an automatic.. If you dont mod it too much you shouldnt have any issues.
