Why is Prada all bent out of shape?

And I am pretty sure you wouldn't be banging up my V. I am down here in Florida in the middle of the summer running 10.7s on poor prepped track like a Weistec blower E was doing in cool weather at a good prepped track with skinnies and light drag setup after having fans blow the engine cold. I did my 10.7 a few minutes after running a 10.9 followed by another 10 a few minutes later with 1.8 60ft times.

I was trying today to get some runs setup in the E55 but everyone backed out because the weather was iffy. There was going to be a 14 Mustang GT with light mods at 390whp on drag radials, a stock CTS-V and one or two other cars that would maybe show up. This whole week looks like rain before I leave town so it kind of sucks that I am pretty sure nothing is going to end up happening especially with us going in to the work week now. I will keep trying though if there is a clear day one afternoon.

I have a guy with an Evo that has ran 10s that said he will run my V so need to hook up with him too, he is a little ways away in GA though but comes to FL for runs. I was looking forward to doing a few runs in the E55 though.

These threads are fun to read. At the rental I participated in saturday night a Caddi ran 10.9 and a SL 55 ran 10.7. Both shocked the begeezus out of me. My car? 11.9 @117.4. (Crossfire SRT-6) I don't play on the street. No way I'll take that risk .... and I'm a risk taker.

I don't care where u live, there is always somewhere to run where the odds of getting caught are equivalent to winning lotto! So, either you will get caught or win lotto...I believe that none of us are going to win lotto! If it's a safety issue, then I understand, but there are no other people at risk where we go.

I am not, by all means, condoning playing on the street...just sayin!

How's that I'm bent out of shape? You two are apparently the ones in absolute shock someone would challenge the almighty CTS-V.

In shock!? lmao...maybe you should read the entire thread again...I have this car for one reason...win, lose or draw! I use it 1-2 times a week, I enjoy it very much, maybe you should try doing something you 'actually' like...or is this it?

Yes, I can read it's the comprehension I apparently have trouble with lol! Played Carribean Stud poker for 6 hours and only lost $150 between us, so I consider that a win for us. Did I answer the question this time?

I think what you are forgetting is the "Caddy squad" also have E55s in their driveway. I just met up with 3 Mustang GTs tonight in the E55. A 2012 manual, 2014 auto and an older one around 2006 range with manual.

Paced behind a run when the 12 vs 14 went from a 40 roll staying right behind them at a safe distance (14 was slightly ahead of the 12), then lined up vs the 14 from a dig and we were side by side to about 115 then they slightly creeped ahead right before I shifted to 4th and ended about me at their rear bumper. It had a drag pack on it (skinnies and small wheels with drag radials on the back), a tune with mid pipes and mufflers and a different converter and driveshaft and was auto. I then ran the older one which was stick and on stock wheels with drag radials with a few bolt ons (not sure what) and a 100 shot. We ran from a 20 roll and I ended up a few cars ahead. I asked if he wanted to go again or if he was good and he said he was good so he didn't miss a gear or anything. Those new Mustangs are a heck of a lot faster than the old ones apparently.

I am sorry we didn't have a GoPro going for the dig run vs the 14, not sure why we didn't set up a camera since I had 2 in the backseat. I had a passenger with me so he held the GoPro facing out the window for the run vs the older one but it is dark and not the best.

My car has Kleemanns, 80mm throttle body, supercharger pulley, cooling and on my 20s.

So you took a '12 5.0 with a 100 shot, but not a '14 5.0 with a drag pack and light mods? That's.....odd.

No, I didn't race the 12, there was a 3rd one that was older, same body style of the newer cars but it was older like 06 range maybe, just taking a wild guess on year, just know it was a different motor like 3 valve vs 4 valve and not as new. The 12 and the 14 ran each other and I took off after them running behind them just pacing to see how I would fare before I ran any of them. They did 2 roll runs then parked. We sat for 5-10 minutes and then went back to run (me vs the 14) from a dig. The 14 edged out the 12 a little when they did their runs. After I ran the 14 the older one with nitrous (maybe an 06) wanted to run so I ran him from a 20 roll.

Doh! Reading comprehension owns me. Older 3V 4.6 with a hundred shot makes more sense.

I didn't even think it was worth mentioning that we both own e55's as I am sure that he can see this in our sigs...and if he didn't know this then...what's the difference!? He is just mad at the world!

Sounds like some cool runs and yes, the newer mustangs run WAYYYYYYY better now! My buddy actually had some special one that went 12.0 sec. bone stock naturally aspirated...he had it for like 6 months only and sold it for what he paid which was sticker price with 3k miles on it. I don't know the particulars of the car but if anyone wants to know then I will find out.

Actually, you're the one who started the pissing match with this comment after he asked what mods you had.

Yeah, this one recently ran 11.9@116 with a 1.7 60ft. It also has some Boss 302 intake or something like that but they said that it doesn't add power and could maybe even be worse than the stock setup, not sure. They have a engine being built and then are going twin turbo on it so they said the torque converter install and that intake were just parts to get ready for the turbo setup. The time it ran and us being side by side until about 115mph seemed exactly right for my mods and what my car and 2 other nearly identically modded E55s ran on the same day (trapping 116 in warm weather). After that they creeped on me right before I hit 4th and a little in to 4th gear, ending with me at their bumper at those higher speeds which would have put us past the 1/4 mile mark when they were going a little ahead. I am sure if I didn't have the big heavy 20s the E55 would be a little faster, but it looks good so I don't care.

It is actually a female who owns the car, she said she is shooting for 800 on the street and 1000 for the track. She used to have a 2012 six speed with nitrous and a few other bolt ons and messed up 2nd gear and traded the car in on this 14. The 2012 GT that was there was also owned by a female, kind of crazy these girls are out there ripping around in modded up GTs with drag radials on the back and the skinnies on the 14. They both have been to the track several times as well.

14 had a husband who was also out there (he actually drove when we did the dig run since he wanted to race it once) and the 12 had a boyfriend with her, I asked the 14 owner if she had any cute friends that were like her haha She said they all get scooped up real quick or are just big hoes

Yeah, my friends was a Boss actually in some odd orange color and they were banging his door down to sell it!

Sounds like a pretty cool gang over there and as far as the racing girls...The hoes will be fine!

Urb: The caddy forum is not as lively as this one. I posted this same thread on the cad forum and there have been like 2 responses and n o one talks about runnin or anything. I don't know many of the guys over there (a few that I do know are really cool and I am sure that there are others) but this forum is soooo much more entertaining. Everyday someone posts something about a run they had or are going to have...whatever. Just saying so that some of the guys that are sick of ctsv talk will understand a bit...but 'we' do still have our E55's!

I should probably go out to the garage and start it! It's been 3 weeks since I used it!
