Car was coming on to the Sagtikos Pkwy today (Saturday) at about 12 noon. I saw him coming on the on ramp way ahead of me and hoped it was some type of AMG but I always say to myself, 'It can't be something'! So, I raced up to it and there it was...a nice black E55 with black wheels. I got in front of him to let him know that I am ready to play and saw a heat exchanger in the front grille. As usual, he was game! We proceeded about another mile before we could get to 'hopefully' open road and there it was...the southern state pkwy was open right in the spot where we got on and we immediately slowed to around 30-40mph and the pull was on! I pulled him a few cars and I got my fix for the day! He came up to me again, so we did it again with similar results. His car seemed to run pretty well. I was passed my turn off so I immediately slowed down to give the thumbs up, he did the same and I got off and continued on my way! Seemed like a nice guy and was hoping that he was on this forum to see what he had done to his car! Hope he is and will chime in!

The best part is, I haven't had my car out in at least a week and I couldn't have been in my car for 15 minutes and there was the E55! Just awesome, whether I would have won or lost!

Stay tuned for tomorrow's Sunday morning hopeful's! That is when I always find someone to play with on the empty open roads early in the morning!

BTW: I had a gut feeling that Alvarez actually has a chance to beat Mayweather so I bet him! We will soon see! Can't wait for some opinions on this!!! BEFORE THE FIGHT!

Upper pulley, corsa, 850 inj, air raid, great tune...car really runs for what it is...next week it will be even better. Let me know anytime you wanna meet up for a run...I am always game...would love to do a before and after run but it's going back for final mods this week sometime. Mayweather is a scum bag piece of *****. Boxer? Ya, one of the top 4 of all time. Over the past 3-4 years I have come to realize that Mayweather has perfected is craft. His cheap a$$ shoulder roll coupled with his speed make him a nightmare to fight. I pay money for his fights to see him get wrecked but the truth is that I go into every fight knowing the outcome. He will be victorious because he has mastered his trait. He has true ring generalship over any opponent he faces and to think that a 23 year old Alvarez can beat him is a joke. Alvarez is a beast no doubt but if you're a true boxing fan, you must know that he does not stand a chance against MM.

The only fight I would have loved to see is Pac VS MM. It would have been great to see it in 2008-2009 when both boxers were in their prime. I believe MM has only improved since and unfortunately Pac Man has not.

I posted last week how I posted my runs on this forum and got 20 responses of entertaining fellow members and did the same on the caddy forum...cricket...cricket...2 responses in 2 weeks! ...Nuff said!




Understandable completely...I can't believe that this guy being 15lbs heavier didn't BULLY him...I don't get it!? That was his game plan? That was Dela Hoyas 'blueprinted' strategy? I don't f**kin get it!!!!

No need bragging about CTS-V all the time. We know E55 sucks compare to it. They are just different generation car. IMO.
It should compare to the 55TT.

 

At the end of the day the cts v still sucks its an American Poj I'd rather be in the AMG find a 2011 e63 and run it AMG is still on top

 

While you are entitled to your opinion I disagree. I am sure you have never even set in a CTS-V must less driven one either. I own an E55 (pictured below) and a CTS-V and I am sorry but the CTS-V does not suck even a little bit.

I drive my E55 more than the V because it is more flashy with the white color and fancy big wheels (even though the V gets looks too) and is tamer (my V is loud) but the V is awesome.

The interior is nice, the cooled seats actually work unlike the E55 garbage cooled seats. It has little things the E55 doesn't (hard disk drive to add music to be stored in the radio), it records the last hour of radio played so you can rewind if you want. It has the ability to display things like transmission temp, oil pressure, etc in the center display as well as other little cool things you may never use like a g meter or lap timer.

It has a boost gauge in the gauge cluster which is always nice so you know you are getting what you should be. It is easily made very fast, it gets the same mileage as the E55. The transmission is WAY better, the engine is better as well for holding power. It has magnetic suspension that Ferrari ended up adopting which is better, the traction control is better, it will not dump the car completely on its face like the E55 does, it controls the car will still giving a lot of power, turn it partially off and you can spin the tires like mad taking off (but kicks in if going sideways) or turn it all the way off and go buck wild (this is done with a button on the steering wheel unlike a "dyno mode" sequence of turning the car off and doing steps to get it off and then having no abs or airbags like the E55. I can go on and on if you would like.

I just don't see how someone could say they suck, that is just ignorance speaking.

 

The CTSV was inspired by the E55 years later. Certainly a great compliment to the E55. However, the Caddy is not an E55. Add a bigger blower, cool the IAT's with better intercoolers and all the usual mods and the E55 runs with the Caddy. The only drawback are the $$$$.

Bottom line: There is simply no bigger bang for the buck than the good 'ol American V8.

As for the E63 TT, well some tuners are already claiming 800+ hp and that's just the beginning. I predicted those very numbers as easily attainable at the original announcement of the E63 TT.

 

Oh and Redw208, I think you mean 2012 E63 (the biturbo)? I did run one of those tuned by Renntech in my V while having a broken intercooler pump (you know what those do to the E55) and pulled a full car length on him (maybe a hair more) on our first run, RedbullJnky was in the car with me and E63 guy was by himself. 2nd run he jumped and I couldn't catch him and 3rd run I got him by a 1/2 to 3/4 car length part of the run then just started losing power from the broken pump and he caught me and went about 1 car ahead (we started at 45ish and I was ahead until about 110, then he passed and he let off at 120).

To Agsilver, the E55 already has a bigger supercharger than the V. The V only has a 1.9 liter blower, the E has a 2.1 liter.

 

Wasn't comparing sizes (stopped doing that in the schoolyard), that was not the point. The point I was trying to make is that the American V8 can produce far more HP for the cubic dollar than a MB 113, but that given enough $$$ the 113, by its inherent design, has the potential to produce significantly more power than the V. The Renntech SLR runs in the 9's.

The basic Renntech E53TT tune, so far, is a re-flash of the ECU. Already tuners are offering bigger turbos, intercoolers, down-pipes. These engines have the capability of approaching 1000HP. Weistec is already at 700+ RWHP with larger turbos.

I'm sure we will be seeing AWD E63's consistently running in the 9's in the near future (Yes, there are V's on spray in the 9's already).

 

I totally agree the V is much better car but it's totally different generation of technology. Plus, the V is 6.2L and 55 is only 5.4L They are both great car just V is faster but should compare to the new 55TT instead the m113k.
Modded 55TT vs Modded V will be more interesting to see

 

Nope, not even close. Dollar for dollar and mod for mod, the -V starts faster and ends faster than any E55. There are -Vs well over 1000 hp, including Hennessey's twin-turbo 1200+ bhp -V. How many Es ever came out of a tuner with that HP AND a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty?

The -V has MANY prosumer-owned cars deep in the low 10s. Only a few shop-funded or science project 55k cars are near or past that. And it takes all of $5k in a -V to get there. $5k in an E55 only starts to ameliorate factory design defects and approach the baseline a -V starts with.

As has been hashed over MANY times over the past few months on these forums, they're both good cars but the -V wins.

 

There are Vs in the 9s not on spray as well with different supercharger (2.9 whipple on E85). 9.6 or 7@145 from one guy in South Florida at full weight too, no weight reduction.

And there are multiple Vs that switched to twin turbo that are over 1000whp (not Hennessey stuff, he is actually not like to much) and another one just the other day who switched to an F1C Procharger is at like 1050 with some more adjustments to be done which are said to gain another 100hp and also he stopped 1000rpm short on his pull. One more twin 6266 turbo car will be tuned any day for another 1000whp setup and that car already ran 9.7 on stock supercharger with some goodies.

JRCart has the badest Benz out there in his CLK63 Black Series with everything possible from Weistec and it doesn't have the power that many of these Vs have and E55s aren't even close to the same ball part, we are talking about the badest E out there with under 650whp.

I don't care if I am running a 1985 corolla (my buddy goes 9's in one) or a 2014 GTR...I love to run anyone and David is the same so all of you guys who don't like to hear that 'whatever' beat your beloved AMG counterpart...TAKE YOUR SKIRT OFF and deal with it! I have posted losses as well and I will lose again many time and I WILL POST IT AGAIN! I don't care, I just wanna race! There is a crew of guys at Robert moses on Sunday's over here that have 1000hp! When my work is done I will run them...and video it...and post it!

Now that you have my blood percolating a bit I will tell you this...the E55 that I ran...well, I completely destroyed it but I was being very modest, respectful and appreciative for the run and to the AMG cars which, everyone who knows me, knows that I love the cars but I just can't see spending the money and time to make it go as fast as I will make the V! I didn't want to brag and make it look like I was being overly abrasive or anything...I love the AMG cars and explained the dif when I first got the V and the benz is a benz and the V is an American car...nuff said! I wish the guy I ran would come on the forum and document what I said is 100% the truth. Doesn't really matter but it would be just to shut the mouth of the idiots...which is documented by their responses!

There are people that want to hear about any runs or races so I post them. If 'YOU' can't handle it then go on match.com or something and find yourself a *****!

The way i see it, you just keep bragging about your races and V is faster car which we all know. In fact, you will just keep posting how you will destroy more e55k because V is actually faster and so what ? not all of us here race and bragging about destroying a G37 or w210 e55.....

 

How about show some races with modded 55TT and F10 M5 !
