Successful day at EC DC Location Open House..
First off, special thanks to Paul and Rick (pas6021 & RAWAMG) - Congrats on the shop, you guys will do great... and of course the EC crew... Jerry, Jake, Phil etc.
Great turn out and nice to see a great rep for the AMG crew.
Took my car there to get the upper pulley, belt wrap kit, and dyno tune done. Car was stock other than EC HE and IC pump.
Car put down 452rwhp/504rwtq.
I was very happy with the power from only a 84mm blower pulley and dyno tune, Jerry knows these motors.
I'm a bit tired from the long day, pics from the day and my dyno sheet will be posted in the a.m.
Great meeting everyone!
PS AHMAD, hope you're getting tuned as I write this! Good luck, brotha..

Cool, how much did it gain from the upper pulley? Wanna compare your gains to the ridiculous gains 'claimed' by some others!
How does it feel compared to before? This is most important!

Car engages MUCH smoother and I logged boost, roughly 1.5 or so increase across the range.
Car pulls significantly harder, especially in the mid range. I am very happy with the upgrade and to be honest, I am not sure if the car needs more.
It is at the perfect point of USEFUL power and getting it to the ground and for my purposes. I am not attempting to break any records and do not race the car.
Very happy customer here!

So it gained 44hp and 23tq...that's pretty decent...very close to what was expected and not the crazy #'s that are sometimes claimed. I like it! Enjoy!

AHMAD is VERY VERY HAPPY... he just left and he is now properly tuned & last dyno run was @ 605.79whp

Out Of Control!!
Nice meeting you Levik and Jerry really does know his ****! He tuned my car in a couple hours and as Rick said made 605whp and it was begging for more but we stopped because I'm not sure what a stock motor can handle

Dyno Sheet attached...
60Nomad: My apologies, it was 415 not 408
Only mods are: upper SC pulley, BWK, Jerry Dyno tune
Like I said, I'm very happy with the results and the overall driveability of the car.
PS Shop was ~91* and 24% humidity, SAE corrected with 1.01

I believe there was something in the tailpipe, I think...
As far as smoothing, doesn't that just show more accurate peak numbers rather than spikes? Isn't the typical dynojet industry smoothing at 5 and accepted standard is SAE?
That's my guess, but maybe someone with more dyno experience can chime in.

I was always told dont mess with that stuff. I think when u leave it @ 0 and no SAE corrections that is exactly what you put down in those condition on that day on that dyno ?

Yea, I'm the biggest noob when it comes to dynos. Not sure on the details like that. Dyno numbers can vary so much, I try not to get too wrapped up.
Having said that, I'm very happy with the power increase and how much smoother the engagement of the blower is along with the drive-ability characteristics of the car after the tune.
