No problem
Thanks for posting the vid bro! Can't wait until we take it out for a spin tonight!!!
It runs on blood, sweat, and tears. I've already answered this so why are you asking again?
Nice pics!
Thanks I am going to order a gopro soon.
lol
Should be!
I've never felt the car pull this hard up top before. Can't wait to see what that translates to at the track. Jerry is da man
Told ya lol
Ahmad is a ricer and a wheel *****. He's currently running Volk LE37's on that hoopty

I think they held back because the motor is stock. That car definitely has A LOT left in it. I wouldn't be surprised if 750+rw is in the near future with a stout build.

Congrats on getting it all going.
I was wondering did I miss the dyno sheet somewhere and what was the iat under load? Top end of a full run on the dyno. Also do you monitor the I/C water temperatures? It would be helpful to know if you do not.

He doesn't monitor anything except for when VTEC hits.

Thanks! The payoff is when I get the timeslip
Thanks!!! I will get to the track asap.
Yea there's tons of power left on the table but I'm still on a stock junkyard motor. Send me one of those 20 motors you built and I will put it in this weekend with a bigger crank pulley and smaller sc pulley and let it eat
Yup, the car can make more power even without turning the boost up but at what point will the motor let go?
Thanks. No you didn't miss it. I will scan it and upload it today. Monitor the water temperatures in the intercooler system? No. I have to look at my logs to get you a numer for IAT at top of dyno run.
They don't call me DK for nuthin
Haha I don't even monitor that! I just FEEEEEL it kick in VTTEEECCCCCCC

Yeah after 605 they decided to stop, I'm sure that car has more power but they didn't want to blow out the motor. But in all honesty I kinda wanted to see another run or two just to push it even further lol

I started monitoring my water temps about a year ago on my car. It helps a lot at determining the i/c setup. I am going to have before and after i/c temps soon. You can tell if your heat exchanger is up to the task which most are not. But bottom line is without the water temperature it is nearly impossible to tell if your intercooler is not doing the job or pumps etc.
I was talking with Bell Intercoolers a little while ago and the specs they were recommending for pump volume and heat exchanger size were quite a bit larger than anything most people are running. On my car which is a smaller setup at less hp they wanted 10/gpm actual flow through the system and a heat exchanger pretty much the size of my radiator to pull the heat out.
As to the point someone else made about the iat at cruise or idle. I have found that this has little to do with peak temps under boost. I have played with different flow rate pumps and exchangers and a bunch of other things and had very little to no effect with cruise temperatures and a lot of change on the temps under a long pull.

Thankls! I saw you briefly at the event but just got caught up with so many things didn't get a chance to talk. When I went looking for you you were gone. Next time
Thanks
Thank you
I drove it home and its been parked since. I will log it and any changes that may be needed will be taken care of by Jerry. Thankfully I wont have to wait months for a revision or send a laptop/ecu back and forth

I think you should put the old file back in. Your making more power at 42mph. Lol
Nice gains, that's crazy. Can't wait to see some street/track vids.

ONE thing I don't understand Ahmad?? How was it that you already went into the 10s on 400 + HP? (First dyno run HP) . Seems to me, a car in the 10s is more like 600+ already??? Did it really gain that much HP on a tune alone??

The dyno he normally uses is a historically low reading dyno. Like 10-15% less than a dyno dynamics. I know, because I've been on that same dyno.
