RB - Any idea why MB chose to cross drill vs. slotted (like your design) ? Porsche and others do the same (cross drilled)...

I believe it's for the look just to differentiate with the regular plain finish surface.

More performance oriented drivers prefer straight (surface) slots as the drill holes are prone to crack.

RB rotors come with open slots - a patent design that both street and track drives can agree to be the optimal disc finishes with both look and performance.

You can click below link and learn more about the pro/con on various finishes.

Our rotor design is of center mount vs. stock's surface mount, so they are not interchangeable.

We only make surface mount replacement OE discs for EVO 8/9 and 10, and GT-R due to more demand for track applications, however more serious tracking drivers still prefer RB's center mount design for it can admit cooling air both from outboard and inboard.

I have had the fronts on for 38k and very pleased. Wear rate similar to OEM. Using OEM pads.

can someone explain to why the e63 rotors are so expensive compared to the e55? or the c63? i've noticed the e63 guys are dropping the c63 rotors on them as they are a direct fit and half the cost if not less.

Two piece floating rotors with aluminum hats vs a single piece.

$650 vs $125 or there abouts.

Brake pads are included for free to ensure compatibility with the rotors and brake pads.
We cannot exclude the brake pads from the package,
sorry about that.
