Oil cooler line confusion
I've spent about 5 hours researching which part number I need to order and even went as far as going to the dealership with the car to order it there.
This is a picture of the system most of us have. From my understanding not all E55's have both oil coolers. I need the two feed lines that connect the oil housing and connect to both oil coolers.
Here is a picture of the diagram that is all over the parts websites and that the dealer has.
Number 11 - 211-500-02-75
I don't think that is actually the right part that I need. The dealership has no idea either. I asked the parts guy to find a part number for the lower oil cooler and he wasn't able to find it.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills

I just found this now. It looks like the correct part and it fits the cls55. The part number is also the same one as the E55, but with a different picture.

Bunch of sites. Parts.com, oediscountparts, mbparts, pelican and even the dealer has first diagram listed as e55. The last one I found on a uk site after searching for the cls55. They also have the diagram you posted as well.
Which site are you getting your information from?
Thanks!

Same place where the dealer gets their info, it's called epc catalog, look at the picture in post #6 more carefully, you put your vin # and all the info comes up.

Under my VIN that's the same part number for me as well. I'm picking mine up Tom from the dealer. So I'll take. Picture of what it looks like and post on here.
Just made a mistake. For me its 211-500-00-75.

I'm convinced the 211-500-00-75 is the par number for me because its about $100 less than the part number you're getting and has about 25% less hose.
Does your car not have the oil cooler below the heat exchanger?

Is the part number 211-500-02-75 or 211-500-00-75 for #190 in the image. Which I believe is the lower one in reference to closer to the ground (looking it at while it's connected to oil housing )?
