People with no gauge or no plans to get a gauge shouldn't get 77mm then ?
Cuz I thought , if I were to go this route why not get the smallest one for most power gain?
77mm
80mm -- This should be the best size for people who have no live IATs right ? Is that the recommendation
83mm

Why do you guys make saving money so difficult? I really like the thoughts of the FSP equivalent of a 175mm pulley, with upgraded fueling and heat exchanger...
I don't think many of you have to deal with this, but what are thoughts on the daily drivability with this pulley on a car that's driven 4 seasons a year(real seasons) never in snow, but during cold weather? (my thoughts are comfort mode is going to become my friend)

This FSP is very tempting. My CDI has tremendous instantaneous torque, 450 ft/lbs below 2,000 rpm and it is awesome off the line. However, it soon falls flat on it's face.
I'd love to have that initial push on the E55 all the way through the power band.
my only real concerns are gas mileage and reliability - The 55 is my daily

I know the 722 had been significantly strengthened to handle the insane torque. I have thought about cross referencing the clutch packs' part numbers, perhaps even purchasing a pack just to see what the difference might be.

You should try my 4 cam V8 Bi-Turbo ML-400 CDI. About a zillion ft/lbs (Built in Tuscaloosa, but not available in the U.S.).

Sorry OT, has anyone tried to feed the power to the current sp pulley clutch constantly so it's always engaged when the car is on? That way, it's equivalent to the fsp?

If the car is so throttle happy, I'd be stuck in snow most of the time lol
In snow conditions I drive it only upto a point so S/C doesn't engage , with
this I'd have no option since it's always engaged.
People will make videos soon, so let's see what happens.
Shardul do you have a try out policy ? Allow us to try it and see if daily driven car stays normal and isn't all
over the place even under partial throttle and if it's manageable I'd keep it , if it ain't I return it back ? lol

The car is not throttle happy, just more sensitive to input than in stock form. Its not really like a two-stroke, but that came to mind in my previous post.
I am sure you could drive in the snow, you just learn where the throttle is. It is the same as a high powered normally aspirated car. The lag is just gone.
As you accelerate from a stop, you are still under vacuum. Boost is about 2mm away if you want it, but it is easy to drive from -15 (Vacuum) up to zero. (pre-boost)
Please also remember, this test is being done with an aggressive set up. I am looking to step it down one notch only because I am afraid. The less aggressive options will certainly be much less "twitchy".. I am in the RED with my set-up. Need to bring it into the yellow

I am on stock crank pulley and if I do go with this setup I'd be opting for 77mm
Stock boost is 11.2 (correct me if I'm wrong) and with 77mm I'd be up to 14.4 which I think would keep me happy lol

How is gas mileage effected by FSP?
Has anyone launched on drag radials with this setup yet? Im wondering if it's too much or just right for some nasty 60 foots. My instincts tell me the later.
