For you guys with rear tanks
How often do you guys clean out your rear tanks and put fresh clean water through your system?
I drained my rear tank today and cleaned the inside walls with a hose attachment while draining the tank. Once I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the tank walls and outside of the rule pump then I ran both front and rear pumps while running clean water from the hose into the tank while having the drain open. I had to close the drain a couple of different times to check for water clarity. Once the remaining water in the system was clear I then added a bottle of royal purple's royal ice.

Btw I went to the track often, almost twice a week.

I clean mine once a year with radiator tablets but drain it often at track or dynos. Slime can build up in the plain water fast and only use some coolant or wetter during off race season.

I actually just put 2 gallons of coolant in my tank today, 25 degrees outside tonight in good old Wisconsin, wouldn't want it freezin up and cracking the intercooler!!.

Smart...for those in cold climate areas, run coolant in the winter months (or 6 months of the year ...)
