bad track day but good customer service

I have been lucky this season everytime i go to the track i get a tick quicker. today i went backwards. Luckily i got a hold of chawkins at bip and figured out my engine tune needs adjustment to work with my tcu tune. Thanks andy too for answering the phone on a sunday and helping me out as well. So monday Bip will get my tune adjusted i will be ready to rock. Not sure if i will get another track outing. My other issue is no traction. with my new tcu tune the car feels way better pulling out. I should of put the race tires on to test everything before the track but oh well thats the way it goes sometimes. i cant complain 11.40's is nothing to sneeze at for a full weight stock pulley car. Thanks Bip, craig, tony, and Andy.

i had enough trouble yesturday trying to keep this car straight on the street with the hoosiers out back. 2nd gear was spinning too. I know i wont hook these tires are done for. but i can prob make a track rental coming up or the last day at atco, i think this weekend will be shot but who knows. I just want to get a full run of good shifts. Its nice dealing with folks that care not just take your money.

I'm curious as to what needed to be done to get the tcu tune to work with the rest of your mods?

I wasn't wondering about your mods specifically, but what caused the tcu tune to slow you down at the track and why the ecu had to be adjusted to work with it?

I see. Could this present a problem if others use a different tuner?

it shouldnt just find out where your engine rev limit is thats all. or if you do not really see track time you can have your shift points lower. Truthfully without going to the track i would of never had known because on the street flooring first and 2nd is out of the question. The partial load shifts say around 6grand were no problem because i wasnt near the rev limit.

I'd definitely like to see some new track data (adjusted for da of course since the air is getting better).
