My car has been with out rear seats since Jan 2013 and I put the seats in storage I have 2 seats up fronts that are also racing lightweight seats in total my car is under 3800 lbs with me in it. Go get nos or a blower or another c63 to push your m5 so it beats me I don't care but I'm not going to change my cars mods to make my car slower just to race you lol sorry find someone else if u don't like my offer.

When i have time and/or energy to strip my car to its frame i will accept that offer! I promise!

I can attest to what the OP is saying as I've experienced the same.

Anytime a dealer and I really mean "ANYTIME" they touch the ECU

say good bye to your tunes. Unless you specifically ask them to save a

copy and then re-flash it back it just won't happen.

Also, I've never seen anyone do that since it'll defeat the purpose of formatting

the ECU in the first place lol

Now , it could be different in the US but everytime I've taken my car in to the

dealer and ECU related stuff was on the list, I had to re-flash when I got home.

I only have rear seats out my driver and passenger seats are in they just not the stock AMG ones they a lil lighter.

Your car runs really good, I am not a big fan of removing seats and stuff but, if you drive it like this 24/7 then I think it is fine! Winning is EVERYTHING to some people and I am not pointing to anyone here! Of course, we all want to win but it is just the thrill of racing to me! I just want a fair race, that's all!

I was pretty sure that they were friends as I met a couple of these guys...all good guys and always looking to run...obviously! Seeing results on the street is the best and you can guess what you might run at the track if you have any comparative cars. From running on the street I guessed my cars track times with in a tenth so it is really cool in that sense as well.


I am curious how much the benz seats weigh...I have heard that they are heavy...also curious what you race seats weigh? I will guess that you are saving 80lbs total...just a guess.
