looking for led turn signal options

what are you guys using? everything ive been finding costs 30 to 40 bucks for 2 bulbs using a generic led bulb and you need to add a resistor between the positive and neg terminals .

What are you guys using for a plug and play turn signal that has everything built into the bulb?

3157 3457a is the correct size right?

I thought the turn signals were soldered to a circuit board how does one go about changing these out?

I think the rears are the only piece that's soldered onto a circuit board. fronts are bulbs that can be replaced with LED's. I believe aznopitcs has some for sale.

Talk to AZN optics. He has quite a bit of experience with this and probably has what you are looking for for a reasonable price.

sorry looking for the ones in the head lights, the ones in my car now look like they are a dual filament which is weird because i thought they are used as a turn signal only, so not sure what the second filament is for.

sol azn optics only option?

You'll need 1157 bayonet bulbs for your front signals. Our front signals have integrated resistors and correct flasher unit so completely plug and play with no external wiring required. We've already deployed these on other w211s who've verified these flash correctly.

Is this the correct part number for the front turn signals in e55 amg? Sylvania list the size as 2357A.

2357 and 1157 are the same bayonet bulb. One of those things where there's no set naming convention for bulb base types. This bulb is also known as BAY15D, P21/5W, 3496, 2057 etc.

Is the website there are to options, one with the Mercedes flasher ic and one without. They both appear to work the same way however. Which one do I need?

You need the one with the IC chip for your front signals to regulate flashing.

I just pulled out a front indicator bulb from the headlight in my w211 E55 and it is single filament which makes it a 1156 not a 1157.

Just ordered some from Aliexpress at $1.24 each with free shipping - there's no need to spend $20-40 on a pair of bulbs guys

The front signal bulb type depends on what year w211 you have (pre or post facelift). And not all canbus units will work, need the right flasher chip. And cost really also depends on quality of the sourced internal chip components. That's a really great price though, a lot cheaper than what it costs for us to manufacturer.

Ordering a pair of the 1156 bulbs with the Mercedes IC for my front turn signals, which will complete my suite of AZN Optics bulbs on the outside of my car. Already have front side markers, city lights, and license plate lights, all look and work great and are 100% error free. Only wish the rear taillights were replaceable.
