Any sub 1,000 exhaust muffler kits available?
Are there any exhaust/Muffler replacement kits on the market for under a grand. Just bought my first AMG E55 and it needs to sound louder. I have owned a 2010 GT500 and a 2010 Camaro SS and would like it to sound like them at least.

Otherwise For you to achieve the sound you're looking for at that price is a c63 exhaust with a resonator delete/ straight pipe.

Why not just take the stock setup to a muffler shop and have them open up the cans and remove some of the packing and possible change the internal baffling ??

That c63 exhaust belongs to me waiting on it to be shipped but I Have a meistershaft gt race exhaust for those who are interested.

My supercharged CLK55 has Topspeed headers they are great quality for $400 haven't cracked yet.

I agree with the others. I stand by my perspective when saying there is essentially not a single exhaust system worth the money for the W211. Just have your own built.

Look at C63 / CLS55 mufflers (video clips) in other thread. Just keep your eyes open and buy when they come up
