I have one,but only use it prior to a wax removal / full detail or when the car is crazy dirty (e.g. left at an airport or a trip to/from the desert)....you don't want to use it every car wash.

Meguiar's Hot Rims cleaner to get the dust off in combination with a synthetic fiber towel for the stubborn stuff. Immediately rinse afterwards, then wipe dry with a separate towel once the excess water has run off.

I'm curious as to why you feel you can't use it with every wash. I do and still get excellent durability out of my sealants...

Depends on the concentration you set with the gun, but generally it is felt to be too much for every week....If you feel you get good durability from your sealants then I guess you are happy. There really should be no need to foam your car every week IMHO, but if the concentration is low then I guess it is fine.

I use Griots Wheel Cleaner on my wheels.

I personally have used Griots, Meguairs, and Chemical Guys car soaps (and like all of them)....Generally you can find the Meguairs Gold Wash at Costco for a great deal...

I use what is called the two bucket method + separate bucket for wheels...I use separate wash mitts for the body and the wheels...

Process wise, I use a pressure washer and spray the wheels first, then apply Griots Wheel Cleaner, then clean wheels with the wheel bucket & mitt...After the wheels are clean (I don't dry yet), I prepare the car. First I pressure wash the car (just water and air), then I use the two car body buckets & mitts and go over the car, then pressure wash clean, and then dry with a special drying towel. After the body is dry, I dry the door seams (trunk and hood) with a different towel and finally dry the wheels with a separate towel as well.

Then vacuum, clean & treat leather, and apply 303 to the plastic crap in the cabin...

lol I know how to wash a car, I was wondering if you did it any different because you don't like to use the foam cannon because it was too agressive. I use the adam's polish shampoo myself

Seriously I can't tell you how many times I vacuum AFTER washing the car. Dust everywhere and if you missed a spot drying the car

Clean the interior first.

Agreed it is best to start with the interior... not how I generally do it though.
