I've been wanting one of those for my CLS for a while, thank you for conforming that it works.
I personally wouldnt miss the horn if it's impossible to make work. I've never used mine.

Is the 3 spoke airbag came from R230 or from W219/R171 ?
As I know, they are different of steering wheel lin-bus module.

I went back on my ebay to check and the part# is gone alrdy.


my horn don't work but all the buttons do and they lit up as well... I think ur problem might be steering rack if your car is older than 05.

done my retrofitting finally

Thanks for the information from dchl21 and other guys
My horn is working but I don't know why...

So currently the steering wheel are works fine (buttons/light/horn/airbag/paddle)

PS. my car is 2005 E280

It appears it will work, if you upgrade steering column electronics to 05+ parts. If you're a DIY person then search and you'll find a post of mine with details of what to do.
