Las Vegas Spotting
Las Vegas spotting!
Spotted a gorgeous Pewter w211 E55 today (Pollok & Pebble). He noticed I was a fellow AMG'er. He was cool about it and gave me a few toe taps. He was an older gentleman although a kid at heart.
ANYONE.....ANYONE???
I see so many AMG's although it seems like none of them peruse any message boards.

Hey jcjmw,
Where abouts in Vegas are you?
I have only seen two w211 E55's. I have seen more SL55's which is quit a shock.
Is your E55 silver, and do you live around the 215 or are you in summerlin as well. I always see a few different ones when I am around the Greenvalley Ranch Station.
Good to hear from a fellow Las Vegan!

I have a black W210 E55 (2000 year model). I live and work in the summerline area. I've been hoping that maybe if there is enough of us AMGs in LV that we form a local AMG group. However, I rarely get a chance to speak to any AMG owenrs. I don't see them at the track (LV Speedway), although its been a while since I been there. Majority of the times, I only seen them on the road going in the opposite direction.

A local AMG group sounds really cool, although what you said is true, AMG enthusiast are rare, however I do see them around. I have been to speedway numerous times, NEVER did I see another AMG yet alone a Mb. I didn't even see that many European cars in general. I hate the track, plus it' at 2200 ft. elevation = very slow runs.
I know of many friends who are enthusiast with all sorts of cars i.e. Porsche turbo, NSX's, M3's.
Maybe we can arrange a Enthusiast get together. All would be welcomed, although Performance oriented cars are preferred.
What do you think?

It's funny that you mention that becasue I was just talking to salesman from there trying to arrange an E55 test drive. I have heard nothing about an underground showroom. Now that you mention it I will look into it.
Noah, are you from the are?

Do you know of any other AMG owners in the Las Vegas / Henderson area?
Maybe we can arrange a meeting at the track among local AMG owners.

Jc,
To be honest, no, although I am acquaintances with a few, but all I have is one of their e-mail addresses. He's a younger guy and drives a CLK55, he'd probably want to go to track.
When is the next open session for the public? I'd still go, along with some friends of mine. The last time I went it was hot out and my car ran really slow. Since it's cold out I'd like to see what kind of #'s I could post.
Let me know
Evan

I'm game!
I am not sure how many people I can round-up on such short notice but I would still go, regardless.
The website says it starts at 7:00 P.M, is that right?
We would have to get there early, before it getss crowded.
Call me at my house if you are still interested, if no one picks up leave a message.
