Powder Coating OEM AMG Calipers (seals rebuild kit)???

Hey Guys,

Can someone who powder coated their OEM AMG calipers guide me in the right direction to how I rebuild the seals? Is there a kit for this? Is there any other way to do it so that the seals don't get damaged? Where would I get a kit to rebuild them and how much does it run?

Any help on this topic would be great. I don't really want to go the paint route since it may not last long at all before it starts fading and chipping from the heat.

Thanks

Kamil

I'm told a rebuild kit is available through the dealer. I've also seen paint last long term with little to no wear and tear

Yes you will need the rebuild seals from Mercedes. They run about $50 for all 4. Here are the part numbers:

(2) 001-421-00-86
(2) 001-421-74-86

This was what I just used for E55

Which year and how many pistons are your calipers?
4/6/8 pot?

Racingbrake offers rebuild kits for many vehicles including Mercedes Benz models.
We sell all our rebuild components in a bundle or independently. Plenty of options to choose from, if you are interested send us an email or pm and we will gladly send you a quote!
