These are not Hoosier drag 255 50 16, they are bias ply Hoosier slicks. I over powered them at my power level, that is why I am selling them. They definitely will hook harder than the Hoosier drag radials everyone runs.

My 60's were 2.0 and 1.85....

I have run 28s before and cut a 1.65 60 ft. I stepped down to these 26" sizing to see what it was like. It's a no go spraying off the line.

The are tires only, no rims.

I've used these also on 10 inch wide 16s. I cut 1.52, 1.51, 1.53 60ft. times. Great tires IMO. But your gear swap and TQ is hurting your 60s. Definitely not a bad thing. Your car is an absolute beast!

Yes, it is frustrating brotha. 60's are going in the wrong direction lol, that plus the fact no tracks around here seem to prep much anymore. Just cant hold the car out the hole

These are still up for grabs.

Craig do you have pictures of the 28s on the car? the way these clk stocks have to be spaced out I don't think I'd have fender clearance. Need to build a properly sized wheel to get a nice tire under there. With the converter the 255 hoosier DR doesn't hold up at all

Exactly, the 3K stall plus 3.07 gear plus spray equals blowing the tires off.

Here is a pic with the 28" tire, and it fits fine on clk 320 rims with the spacer:

Damn I'm gonna try them. my car is too low gonna have to raise it, wish I could lock the "raised" setting on the air matic and it wouldn't lower after a certain speed.

Just a FYI LM7, with the 28" slicks your car will go into limp mode unless your have star with developer mode. If you have developer mode, you can code the tire size issue out.

$295 shipped.

I have a set of these tires and they are ridiculously light. Mounted on the clk wheels, I put one on the scale and it was less than 30 lbs!! I weighed it 3 times because I couldn't believe it.

I went once and only got 3 passes, but had some cooling issues. I was still experimenting with pressures (bleeding down a couple PSI after every pass) and didn't even get down below 15 PSI and I still was in the 1.8 sec range. I like them so far.

Don't want to beat a dead horse (thread) but you put a 11.5" wide tire on an 8" rim?

Or was one of those dimensions different from above?
