Hi Guys,
So this is the engine mount and bolt issue? Has anyone done something that completely resolve the issue?

But my problem only happens when it's stopped and you give it a hard accelerate and you will hear a loud grinding sound while it vibrates. I originally thought it was my tire that went flat and I was driving on rims and caused the grinding noise, then I found out that my tires were fine. So in my case, this only happens at first gear and give it a hard accelerate, and doesn't happen during driving. Is this the same issue as OP?

Check out the Diff mounts, normally these go if you're car has a few mods and is pulling plenty of power, they will just rip right out of the floor. An easy one to miss since after ripping off the strut can settle back into the same hole it ripped out of.

Ok, let me check with my indy shops for my diff mounts. My car has no mods actually, but I do have a lot of mileage on it though 118k miles

Will definitely have your recommendations looked into
My car had 71k when I bought it and these were the motor mounts...The car vibrated like a tanker truck and if I gave it the beans I would literally hear a loud clunk.

A good test is open the hood and power brake the car a bit in drive and reverse, if you see the engine rise up an excessive amount, your motor mounts are shot.

Yep those were shot haha. I thought I had ordered the wrong mounts when I replaced them not too long ago, as there was quite a height difference in them

@Pekkle Did you figure out what was causing the vibration? I have similar vibrations in my '97 SL that can be felt in the footwell/gas pedal when i floor it in first gear only. Did motor and trans mounts last week.
Thanks
