Tuner shop Tampa Bay area for e55
Recently purchased 2005 e55 wagon. Can anyone recommend a reputable shop in Tampa Bay area for tune, pulley & headers type mods.

just contact cory @ kleemann he will take care of you. C2 design is nice and they are an authorized dealer for kleemann but better to just go directly thur kleemann will be cheaper. good luck

It’s great to save a buck or two by going direct to the vendor but it’s nice to be able to keep money in the local marketplace and build a relationship with a reputable shop. Tampa is loaded with shady shops doing things they have no business touching. I think C2 has been selling KLEEMANN parts for 10 years…there is ALWAYS an AMG or 5 in their shop…. they’re very competent with those cars. For me, I want one shop working on my car that knows my car and knows what they’re installing…..that’s why I always refer people to C2, they know what they’re doing. Give Chris a call and get some pricing from him…better yet, stop in and check out their shop. Amazing. And I know he loves wagons.

Is C2 still the go to in the area? I live in New Port Richey
looking to get valve covers done, sparkplugs, coilover conversion, and a few other maintenance things, and get some upgrades installed at the end and drive off

If your not looking for a tune or performance parts and just need nor.al MB service, I would check out Werners in Tarpon. Good hourly rates, good price and great work.
Also I am in NPR and have an SDS if you are ever looking to do some diagnostics.

Problem is I work on 54 until 5pm and these guys are always closed when I have free time so I don't know when to go to ask them in person. Gonna make the call today and ask for some info.
So, my car leans a bit to the left, can your SDS tell me anything about the shape of the airmatic? I know it's on its way out, I just wanna find out if maybe it's an easier fix than just converting to the Arnott coil spring kit. I appreciate your offer.

For normal work, I use German auto in Safety Harbor. They work on the E55 and my former SL65. Wayne's a great guy.
For performance, I'd probably use C2.
Am I reading this right that there are FOUR wagons in the area? I know of the yellow one in St. Pete.
That would be a cool meetup.

So does Eu Performance allow you to bring your own parts?
Looking to get the following installed if I bring my own parts:
Headers
Belt wrap
3 piece pulley kit
PLM heat exchanger
Tune for it all for no cats
Coilover conversion (any idea of the cost for this?)
I wanna get my stuff from Shardul because he's been very good with pointing me to the right direction.
After its fixed up and the mods are installed this car will make me **** my pants. I have never driven such a fast car before, I turn the traction contol and fish tail every corner holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Wagon AMG's are so rare, if i could find one I'd buy it in a heart beat.

I am glad I found this thread I recently moved to Tampa and have been looking for a shop to get some work done.
Also I'd love to see these wagons! Not to get off topic but are there any good car meets or shows around the area? Maybe even Benz/AMG in particular? I see BMW's meet on Courtney Campbell all the time since I am right off of Rocky Point.

On a serious note I remember seeing a lot of cars meet up at USF on Fridays I think, not sure if that still goes on... could be a lot of children there but a car meet's a car meet I guess, never been to one because I never had a car worth meeting about

2002 CL500 to CL55 conversion
Old post but after working as a tech for MB tampa and MB in st Pete, we started our own service company specializing in MB. The best part is we come to you, worked out great for a recent e55 fuel pump failure client we had, saved hundreds not just on labor but the tow bill as well.
The business is owned by actual Mb enthusiasts (I have 4 Mb now with the new c43). Not just some Nissan techs who heard MB work pays well. Mbworld forums are odd about posting businesses and such without paying a sponsorship fee(frankly I’ve invested tons of hours of troubleshooting, and DIY guides for the w215 community over the years if that isn’t enough of an investment to this site) , DM for more details or free estimates
PS - miss seeing the yellow wagon come into the St Pete dealer, heard it was sold recently.
