My CTS-V just got faster
Some of you I am sure could care less because it isn't a Benz, some of you will love it so I figured I would share.
I finally made it to the dyno and ended up doing a 100 shot and then a 150 shot of nitrous. If you don't know, I have a spray bar setup in my ZL1 supercharger lid which I had done by Nitrous Outlet. I also installed a 1 gallon fuel cell that has Sunoco 116 octane in it.
I dynoed on a dyno dynamics so not quite mind blowing glorious numbers but a nice improvement. I had previously dynoed on a dynojet which I made 653whp on pump and 674whp on meth, with the same setup I did like 620whp on this dyno dynamics on pump and 630whp on the meth about 2 months ago. The meth has been removed and I installed the nitrous setup. On that setup I was running between 134-136mph in the 1/4 and had a high of 137.2 on one run last time at the track. Full weight over 4400lbs and on stock 19" wheels with a NT05r drag radial on the back.
We did a baseline pull before starting the nitrous tuning and the car did 621whp, on just 93 octane tune (no more meth). We started tuning with 100 shot pills in place and pulled 3 degrees of timing. We ended up putting back in 1 degree and then another degree, with the 2nd degree added back in there was only a small increase so we ended up leaving the new regular everyday tune at 1 degree less than it was previously figuring it wasn't worth adding more timing when the improvement didn't out weight the safety. It sucks that we forgot to do another baseline run with no spray with this down 1 degree tune so not sure what the car made off spray compared to the 621 it did before touching the tune but I would guess just a hair over 600.
It ended up making 757whp and like 785wtq on the 100 shot.
We moved on to the 150 pills and pulled more timing out and ended up at 2 degrees less than the 100 shot tune (my new motor only tune) figuring that was good enough. I am running the 2nd 150 shot tune on a little "flex box" using the flex fuel tables of the stock ecu so I can be on my regular everyday tune or flip on the box if running the 150 jets and have the nitrous tune ready to go.
It ended up making 803whp and 909wtq on the 150 shot.
I did some runs from between 50-60mph starting in 3rd gear and the car hooks really well. A little spinning but very controllable and ripping forward. This is on my stock 19s with 305/35-19 NT05r tires that are about 1/2 way used up. The only thing I need to get sorted is the transmission doesn't always want to shift from 3rd to 4th right (haven't tried spraying in lower gears yet), like it is hitting a limiter before it shifts. The shifts are up around 6600-6700rpm and I had the NOS mini progressive controller set to turn off the spray at 6300, I then lowered that to 6100 but didn't seem to make a note worthy change in the shift, so may have some tinking around to do still.
You can feel it fall off some when the nitrous stops spraying for those last 600rpm or so, it does the shift then plants you in the seat again pulling on down the road when the spray hits again.
Can't wait to run some fast cars around me now, I have a friend with a 801whp Supra and another with around 800whp RX7 with an LS turbo setup which we actually just ran the other night and were neck and neck until 5th gear and we pulled away in the Supra. If you want to watch it, it is here
I am curious what it will do on a dynojet so I will have to do it one of these days just to see, especially since comparing from my meth tune I had 630 on this dyno and 674 on a dynojet, I am curious if there is some kind of ratio or the higher you get in power the more the variance will be from the inertia dyno (dynojet) spinning up faster.
Either way the car feels like a complete different animal and whenever I get to a track next it should be fun, only sucks it will be a while until there is cool weather considering it was 94 degrees today.

I have a very similar setup. Its a smart build with the 1 gal fuel cell. The additional fuel cell has a standalone pump right? Similar to the NX SAFE system?
I love my setup, i havent pulled the trigger on the 150 or 200 pills yet. The 100 scares the crap out of me in low RPMs.
Your car with the additional boost and nitrous must be... insane.

Similar to me just at or over 700whp and tq add in ported heads and a little more boost up around 740-750 and a guy ran 9.7@139 like that just recently in south Florida.

Yes, he did this on stock block and trans.
Then shortly after (less than a month) this guy did this on stock block and trans.

So what is the deal with transmissions ? Is the auto fun to drive in the twisties ? Can you hold a gear and shift manually ?
Very nice ride you have there...

Out Of Control!!
Those are some baddd *****es! I think it's doable on stock AMG bottom end if you can get it to leave like those cars. They came out the hole so hard! 1.37 60! How much lighter is the coupe vs the sedan?
