2011 E63 Pano roof popping sound

I am looking at a low mile E63. Drove it yesterday. Twice going over a lip turning into a parking lot a loud pop/crack noise came from the pano roof. Is this fixable or will it be that way forever? My 2008 E63 Pano didn't make much noise at all.

Thanks in advance for your time.

I don't recommend any Pano-roof. For me, it's useless and weight 80Lbs extra for W211. Plus, it's very unreliable. Why don't you get 2012 instead of 2011... you might spend more $$$ but worth it !

Why is a 2012 worth the extra money?

i have a 2004 and love the pano-roof - in 10 years have only had to replace one of the motors once, but i use it daily - love the look of it and function as well - don't let the nay-sayers sway you - and befriend a tech at a local MB shop who can do work for you on the side - if it breaks out of warranty it is a 4K fix - but i think there is a sticky on how yourself if you are handy.
