need help diagnosing S/C noise that's not the bearing

Getting desperate... Can't figure out a bad metallic noise coming from the front of the super charger. I was sure it was the supercharger pulley bearing but I replaced that today with no change to the rattle. Before that, I replaced the tensioner. I took a video of how it sounds when running and how the clutch on the pulley rattles when not spinning when you move it by hand, is that normal?

Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Patrick

Forgot one other thing... With the new bearing installed there is no more play or room between the friction material. It now may be too close (not sure) but it had no change in the noise.

I am trying to diagnose a similar problem but yours is definitely the pulley since mine is solid.

Here is the thread

Its definetly too far, the clearence should only be .35 to .45mm!
Try removing shims from behind the pulley and get the clearence right.

EDIT:

should also mention that it seems the pulley plate that you are moving at the end is moving way too much.. mine is basicly solid. I think it might be a problem that needs to be fixed (new pulley?)

Here is what it looks like now after the bearing replacement. Still a ton of noise when just moving by hand. The bearing is new and made no noise so I know its not that. The gap now seems way better but I'll get a feeler on it to check, could be a bit close.
It seems like the noise is either the loose clutch plate itself or the black cylinder that the clutch pushes against (no idea the name of that is) between the pulley and s/c. Both seem to make noise when I spin them by hand.. Is that normal at all? Motor has 74k on it.
Any ideas on how to narrow it down?

I'm going to keep this thread updated just in case someone with the same issue finds it helpful later. I'm still stuck on the diagnoses but I know the clutch plate is definitely loose on the pulley. So it seems like my next best step is a new pulley. All the ones I see for sale are the smaller diam. ones, has anyone run them without a tune?

Thanks Shardul, I agree that it's now too close. Do you think that would cause the rattle noise I'm hearing?I was really hoping it was the bearing but other than fixing my large clutch gap issue, it hasn't made any change to the noise.

So I just went to measure the gap and I realized I don't know how to do that. There are springs or something like it in the clutch plate. Should I measure the gap that I can fit in before it moves the plate or the max size I can fit in the gap when the plate is pushed back. My guess is its the first but that basically means my new gap is about 0mm.
How many shims do I need and any idea where to get them because I did a quick search and found nothing.

You were asking me whom to get the pulley from.

lol Shardul sells S/C pulley - get one from him and shims come free lol

I received my new shims from Shardul (thanks so much!). Before I bolt it all back up I wanted to take a video of the pulley itself. When I shake it the noise you hear is from the friction material hitting the pulley. I assume this isn't normal?

needs more cowbell!

dang, I'd send it back to whomever you bought from so they can diagnose the failure point... that's really weird!
